This is a TikTok inspired challenge which I think is basically branding where they have to make a viral dance, the lipsync choice is... interesting I'll say that :lol:

I’m sure I read a couple of the queens chatting on Twitter or something saying they were high in the workroom, so should be interesting :lol:

After this I’m thinking Monet for the win? This shows how excellent she is at carrying and branding herself, I think in terms of representing the brand and being RuGirl she makes so much sense as the “Queen of all Queens”, she’s not necessarily a queen I STAN but she makes so much sense.

 

I agreed with the judging this week although I’d have put Viv in the top over Shea. Yvie could have been top 2 over Jinkx too but i can’t disagree with Jinkx being there and I absolutely loved her runway.

Jinkx's runway was so good. As was Monet's video.

 

Shea's video was good but her runway was...not it. That dress was so ill-fitting.

I’d have had Trinity and Jinkx top 2. Monet was literally given all the cues this week, loved her runway but Ru gave her the idea and dance. I don’t really get what she did, didn’t Shea help with the dance too or was they joking?

Shea’s runway was meh. You could see it all coming? Jaida was outstanding on the runway and I wish she got more praise.

I agree with Jinkx and Monet in the top 2 this week, both did really well and had great runways! Overall I thought the epsiode was really good and all the queens did well.

Monet to win the whole thing? I don't see it. Honestly I think Jaida deserves it but Jinkx probably has it in the bag.

 

Monet has had some great talking heads this season though.

 

I will say going in to this season I really underestimated The Vivienne and overestimated Shea! I'm now with the latter starting to think she was really lucky with challenge order on S9 because since...she's done well but I've rarely been amazed by her.

Wow, Viv was overlooked this week (assuming the focused queen's in the deliberation part are the Top 4... up until then, I had Viv and Jinkx as a lock in for Top 2)... Genuinely found Viv laugh out loud hilarious!

Assuming Top 4 of the week are the ones that are singled out during the judges deliberation... I have zero clue how Shea was included. Hers was completely generic/forgettable... One of the least likely to become a trend imo. I just can't warm to her, this week came across as cold as every other week...

Agree, for me I think Shea completely misunderstood the challenge. The challenge wasn't 'make up a dance routine', it was 'do a dance themed viral moment'.

I think Shea has done well at most things, but I definitely agree that she is cold. When you look at virtually all of the others, they've had some memorable moments, a journey, or standout weeks, Shea kind of turns up and does well and nothing more. And when the whole cast is doing well, it's not a format that is really kind to her, turning up and doing well isn't enough. Like Jinkx is Jinkx, Monet is always great TV, Raja is just an absolute gem with so much wisdom and great viewpoints with all her experience, Jaida is just so lovable, etc etc and then Shea is just... good at things and that's it?

Raja and Monet would have been too 2 for me this week but I do think I am a tad biased to Raja at this point- I’m adoring everytime she opens her mouth and this series has put her firmly in my top 5 winners of all time across all seasons :)

I don't think Shea has been underperforming as much as people say — she's great at so many things and has excelled in numerous challenges, even without the stars. It's the downside of being good at everything but going against queens that have *mastered* particular skills needed for different challenges.

Yeah I agree, this format is perfect for a queen like Jinkx because you can bank on her to probably win a comedy challenge, so she's more liekly to get more wins, compared someone like Shea and Yvie who are good at most things without having an area of strength necessarily. I do think the win counts are about right, so it's not a major issue, but theoretically what if a queen won once and was then in the top for every other challenge but wasn't top 2 so didn't get another star? :lol: Idk I do like the format and it felt fresh at first, and it wouldn't feel right to have eliminations, but I'm picking holes in it too the longer it goes on.
