Aw finally lost a second one of my votes - IIRC I only discovered '(Mucho Mambo) Sway' from it being played on plug.dj, but I do remember it being a bit of a staple on there. :music: (Iconic that there was a top 2 of unrelated songs with the word mambo in their title).

'Where Do You Go?' is played on Heart pretty often recently for some reason (I don't think I'd ever heard it before that, it's decent though). I can't say I've noticed the similarity to 'Missing' so many have to listen more closely next time it comes on.

'Barcelona' was not far off my points and I also like 'Hush', and 'Always' is alright if a bit overblown (it's no 'Livin' On A Prayer'). Can leave the rest of the last few batches.

An unusual song with only one word for a chorus.

A euro hit before it became used in a tampon ad and Narcow’s second favourite No 2 of the 90s!

Three songs I like there but couldn’t find room for. Crash Test Dummies in particular is a wonderfully unique chart track
Boo that’s way too low for Mmm x4. Dr Alban was close to my votes. The M People song is good but it was so heavily rinsed on local radio I can’t get excited about it.

It's My Life wasn't far out of my votes. Always reminds me of the TV on wheels being brought into the classroom at school to watch some dodgy video trying to dissuade kids from giving in to peer pressure.

The Crash Test Dummies track is wonderful <3 Glad it had a couple of other big voters, such a bizarre track to be a big hit, I love the strange lyrics, his low voice and the one-word chorus. Where it gets going in the middle-eight is great too.

Yet to lose anything inside the top 100. :o
Is Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm the highest charting song to only feature 1 unique letter in its title?

I can see why Mmm x4 is so divisive, but I'm on the positive side of it. It's certainly got a lot of drama packed into it! The other two are decent tracks too.

Those three are all good quality but didn’t have room for any of them on my list. Dr Alban is probably my favourite of them.

The M People track for me is a classic 90s track!

Wish I had voted for Crash Test Dummies as it’s such a unique hit!

A marmite hit even back in 1991 but it’s found love here.

First single after THAT incident and his final top 2 single. A midweek chart topper until Cher happened and our favourite GM 90s No 2.

The amount of hype surrounding their first single from a second album was immense and this led midweek.

Gypsy Woman was in my points shortlist - great early 90s dance. Outside is fabulous, but so many other classic George Michael tracks to choose from!

Never got the hype for Love Spreads.
