November 22, 20222 yr Joint 5th with Dandy* now! 5th?!!!! I feel that Gezza as our countdown lord was very clear that the final posters chart was the one before the top 10. I do not recognise this 5th malarkey.
November 22, 20222 yr Well my prediction was a bit out oops (Still predicting Common People/Justified and Ancient to be top 2 though, it would really surprise me if not). A great song though ofc., but one of just two in the top 10 I couldn't quite fit into my votes!
November 23, 20222 yr Ray Of Light is great but I didn't have room for it in my votes in the end. Expected it to go even further than this but kind of glad it hasn't as I prefer other songs in the top 10.
November 23, 20222 yr really hope KLF doesn't go all the way tad overated rooting for Common People <3
November 23, 20222 yr Just realised I was so miffed by the slander (:kink:) that I never mentioned that I absolutely adore Ray of Light, such a unique pop song for the charts and one that I rank in my top 10 Madge tracks
November 23, 20222 yr Ray of Light is heavier than a lot of dance songs. I always marvel that she had the bravery to choose Frozen over Ray of Light as the lead single. Edited November 23, 20222 yr by Colm

November 23, 20222 yr Really showing up surprises here with that out 9th. I personally think it's overrated as well so not bothered by the early drop out. Edited November 23, 20222 yr by Roba!
November 23, 20222 yr Aww overplay must have counted against Wonderwall a bit then as Don’t Look Back In Anger made 2nd in the #1s rate. It remains a work of genius.
November 23, 20222 yr Definitely overplayed to death but I'm still a fan of the song and especially the accompanying album *.*
November 23, 20222 yr It is a great song but does at the same time grate on me a little, yet I never get bored of Don’t Look Back In Anger or Live Forever, so I’m not sure what it is about it that has that effect. Edited November 23, 20222 yr by gooddelta
November 23, 20222 yr I'm sure 'Don't Look Back In Anger' gets overplayed too but fortunately I don't hear it quite as much and I've always preferred it of the two.
November 23, 20222 yr The overplay doesn't change that something special was happening when Wonderwall came out, and pretty soon everyone knew it.
November 23, 20222 yr I mean, Don't Look Back in Anger's just a lot better for me, I guess that's just cos I've always much preferred Noel as a vocalist to Liam. I do still like Wonderwall, it's hard not to, but it's not my song of choice from them, just a bit too many pub singalongs. This also means I voted for the whole top 8 :cheeseblock:
November 23, 20222 yr Wonderwall is good. I can still see exactly why I loved it when it was released and I enjoy it when I hear it today.
