Yeh it’ll depend on how he does at trying to get the Rwanda policy revived again this year and if he can’t then he could use that as the reason for the election!

I enjoyed the TΓͺte-Γ -tΓͺte between our PM and Piers Moron, whereupon our illustrious leader bet Β£1000 he could deport vulnerable and desperate people to unsafe conditions in Rwanda. ha. ha. so funny guys. Although, honestly - if I'd wanted to see a hotly contested competition between two of the most ignorant men in the UK to find out 'who can be the biggest cunt' whilst tossing around the one remaining brain cell they (presumably) still had - I'd have watched Top Gear (pre-2015).

We knew this about her long ago, she was having dinner with Farage and Trump a couple of years back.

I'm sure it has absolutely nothing to do with the fact she's married to a Tory billionaire donor, of course.

Edited by Jessie Where

She's completely talking crap anyway - most people (especially younger ones not married to billionaires or from wealthy families) do support left wing policies BECAUSE they have to earn a living and find somewhere to live and they find that the system is completely against them with lack of affordable housing and huge wage disparity because rich pay very little tax but get all the benefits from cheap labour.
Sunak today at PMQs joked about and made fun of trans people in front of Brianna Ghey's mother, using transphobic language similar to what Brianna's murderers used.

He's such a weak and hateful little twat!!

He continues to be absolutely terrible at politics, right off the back of yet another debacle with his Β£1000 bet ridiculousness. Basic common decency would have told him to leave that sort of thing on the table even if next week he planned to go right back to the transphobia. One would hope that such a huge f***up would teach them something about their abhorrent views, but nice to see him being roundly condemned for it anyway.

Β

Starmer's rage was quite palpable too.

Β

I would've fully supported Brianna's mother if she went up to smug Sunak and punched him in his insufferable face.

Despicable comment and coming off betting Β£1000 swiftly after removing cost of living payments and claiming the crisis is 'easing'. Just so, so out of touch in every way, to the point even he can't see that a murder he's calling a tragedy is spurred on by his kind of comments.

I've been so angry about this all day 🀬

What an absolute f*****g septic c***

Sunak is just an evil, snivelling, mendacious creep - just like 99% of the Tories. Smiling away whilst trying to blame Labour for the fuss.

Β

And FWIW (and I think Starmer is weak) I do think there is something to be said about how being horrible about someone in front of the victim is worse than being horrible about someone when they're not there (although it was the house of commons so it's hardly private). I know a lot of commentators were saying the opposite, and it would be great if no one said any anti trans comments, but I think there's a special place in hell for people who show the ultimate lack of respect by making jokes in front of the victim.

PREACH!!!

A weak, weak, vile little pot-shotting bully

Β

I've said for a while that the current government act like a bunch of school children but I think even children would know better than to say what Sunak said.

Β

I know how these things go though, they won't lose any support and it'll have been forgotten by whenever there is an election.

Vile. And an article has come out where Sunak is blaming Starmer!!! You can't make this shit up!

Rishi Sunak says Keir Starmer sad and wrong to link trans jibe to Brianna Ghey case

Β

Rishi Sunak has accused Sir Keir Starmer of demonstrating "the worst of politics" for "using the tragedy" of Brianna Ghey in a House of Commons row.

Β

Sir Keir criticised the PM on Wednesday for making a joke about his "definition of a woman" on the day Brianna's mother was visiting Parliament.

Β

The father of the murdered transgender teen called on Mr Sunak to apologise.

Β

But the PM has declined to do so - and instead accused the Labour leader of being "sad and wrong".

Also another one to add to the list of the Tory failures:

Cancer waiting times in 2023 worst on record in England

Β

Cancer waiting times for 2023 in England were the worst on record, a BBC News analysis has revealed.

Β

Only 64.1% of patients started treatment within 62 days of cancer being suspected, meaning nearly 100,000 waited longer than they should for life-saving care.

Β

The waits have worsened every year for the past 11.

This government need to be completely wiped out in the next general election. I really hope they do (however small that chance is).

Edited by Envoirment

At the same session of PMQs, a backbencvhj Tory MP spoke about his problems with his mental health. At the end of the session Sunk simply walked out of the chamber. Starmer, OTOH, crossed the aisle to offer the MP support. Sunk just seems to be totally lacking in empathy.

Last night, well after the Commons had closed for a week's recess, Sunak announced thirteen new members of the House of Lords. Eight of them were Tories, four Labour and one Plaid Cymru.

Β

When most of the hereditary peers were thrown out, Tony Blair said that the make-iup of the politically affiliated peers should roughly reflect the vote share at the previous general election. The Truss and Johnson resignation lists took the number. of Tory peers to five more than all other parties combined (including an Independent Conservative). These new appointments increase the Tory majority. After the election, there will be a dissolution honours list. That is likely to include a further batch of Tories who are standing down or lose their seat. Then there is the likelihood of a Sunak resignation list.

Β

There are already 103 more Tory than Labour peers. These two upcoming lists will extend their advantage even more. Unless some of those Tories can be persuaded to retire, Starmer is likely to be tempted to appoint dozens of new Labour peers to reduce the gap. There are already almost 800 members of the House of Lords (making it the second largest legislative chamber in the world, behind only China's equally unelected "parliament"). Within a year, there could be closer to 900.

Β

PS. Auto-correct keeps changing Sunak to Sunk

We have had the mother of Brianna in our school to talk to the children about tolerance and online safety, I was amazed by the families determination to try get something positive out of such a horrendous event in their lives. The prime minister can go f*** himself quite frankly!
