UK Chart Run: 17-7-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-3-6-7-10-16-23-28-39-58 (18 weeks)

Next to fall is Californian R&B group All-4-One with their cover of a song originally recorded by county singer John Michael Montgomery (TIL!) It was their only significant hit in the UK and was unlucky to run in the behemoth that was Love Is All Around, spending 7 consecutive weeks at #2 stuck behind it. Only Frank Chacksfield's Terry's Theme From 'Limelight' from 1953 has ever spent more weeks at #2 without ever hitting the top spot.

Let's keep this going, round 3 is now up.

torn between Pato Banton and Doop

although Saturday Night and Wet Wet Wet are terrible too

funnily the 2 songs that left were much much better than any of those 4

Allllllllllllllllllllways boring this time! ;)
Now everyone needs to go back and listen to Eddy Grant's original 1968 chart-topping version of Baby Come Back (by The Equals) as penance (granted Pat O'Banton's UB40-lite version isnt anywhere near as good) or even his 80's solo cover :teresa:
