December 28, 20223 yr Author An albums top 40 is all that we have on Music Week right now unless they change it, the singles top 40 is unfortunately looking like this: 1 N 0 2 N 0 3 N 0 4 N 0 5 N 0 6 N 0 7 N 0 8 N 0 9 N 0 10 N 0 11 N 0 12 N 0 13 N 0 14 N 0 15 N 0 16 N 0 17 N 0 18 N 0 19 N 0 20 N 0 21 N 0 22 N 0 23 N 0 24 N 0 25 N 0 26 N 0 27 N 0 28 N 0 29 N 0 30 N 0 31 N 0 32 N 0 33 N 0 34 N 0 35 N 0 36 N 0 37 N 0 38 N 0 39 N 0 40 N 0
December 28, 20223 yr the really old Xmas albums and carols collections actually going top 40 this week :cheeseblock: shame we don't have a singles update... but it will make Friday's chart a tad more interesting if it doesn't come
December 28, 20223 yr The singles update should be live at some point as a mid chart has been sent out so they have it.
December 28, 20223 yr It looks like this will be the first time since 1992 where no one has scored multiple #1 singles in the exact same year
December 28, 20223 yr LMAO at some of the albums. They will obviously drop a bit now later in the week as the sales are all streams.
December 28, 20223 yr Will we get any idea on how close albums are? I’m going to predict the answer is: N 0
December 28, 20223 yr Bublé did 17.5k on the equivalent week last year - so more than Taylor did last week - and that was with only 2 days of streams before the Boxing Day collapse rather than the 3 he has this year, I expect he'll probably hold on and maybe with a pretty decent lead. It looks like this will be the first time since 1992 where no one has scored multiple #1 singles in the exact same year What about the inexact same year?
December 28, 20223 yr Hopefully Taylor overtakes. Cba with a #1 album generated almost entirely from playlist streams.
December 28, 20223 yr If Mariah's "Merry Christmas" climbs to at least #31 this week, that means it'll reach a new peak 28 YEARS after its original peak.
December 28, 20223 yr ouch not Buble with his fake figures from playlists, he has so many different Christmas album tracks everywhere
