the really old Xmas albums and carols collections actually going top 40 this week :cheeseblock:

shame we don't have a singles update... but it will make Friday's chart a tad more interesting if it doesn't come

Good for Sam to still be top 10

Assume Taylor can overtake Buble

The singles update should be live at some point as a mid chart has been sent out so they have it.
I thought there was a 3 track rule, how come N O has 40 songs in the chart?
It looks like this will be the first time since 1992 where no one has scored multiple #1 singles in the exact same year

Bublé did 17.5k on the equivalent week last year - so more than Taylor did last week - and that was with only 2 days of streams before the Boxing Day collapse rather than the 3 he has this year, I expect he'll probably hold on and maybe with a pretty decent lead.

It looks like this will be the first time since 1992 where no one has scored multiple #1 singles in the exact same year

What about the inexact same year?

If Mariah's "Merry Christmas" climbs to at least #31 this week, that means it'll reach a new peak 28 YEARS after its original peak.
ouch not Buble with his fake figures from playlists, he has so many different Christmas album tracks everywhere
