UK Chart Run: 1-1-1-1-2-1-2-2-2-6-7-12-21-23-34-41-58-62-61-74 (20 weeks)

Finishing in sixth position we have New Jersey hip hop group Fugees with their signature song Killing Me Softly. After a very low-key debut album they got their first UK top 40 hit in Spring 1996 with Fu-Gee-La from their second album The Score. Also on that album was a cover of Killing Me Softly With His Song, made famous by Roberta Flack's version in 1973. The single, which sampled A Tribe Called quest's Bonita Applebum, topped charts around the world and became the best selling single of the year in the UK. The Fugees had 3 further top 3 hits, including another #1 Ready Or Not but disbanded in 1997 to pursue solo careers. They have temporarily reunited twice since for reunion tours.

'2 Become 1' is probably my second my fave of theirs behind 'Viva Forever'. Kinda biased to their ballads it would seem :P I like all of the Spice Girls ones here but could potentially go for one of the other two after the one I'm voting out next.

'Return Of The Mack' for me now. Decent track but I've never loved it exactly!

The temptation to vote tactically is there but I'll maintain my integrity and keep voting '2 Become 1' x
Its time for Spice Girls now and my least fave of theirs here is Say Youll be There.

I'm really surprised '2 Become 1' has so many fewer votes than the other 2 Spice Girls songs? It's pretty comfortably my least favourite of the 3 and this site is hardly known for its great love for ballads.

'Say You'll Be There' is the song I'd be targeting next though.
