Those are anomalies, as there have always been. How many albums debut top 10 just to drop out of the top 100 (or 200) the next week? Even Kylie’s ‘Tension’ didn’t have the longevity of Golden and Dancing despite having her two biggest hits in over a decade.

Not to mention Teddy Swims & Benson both have 3 songs in the top 100 on the current singles chart and Gracie with 2. They are producing hits/singles with longevity which will translate better into album sales.

The album completely bombed but the album chart is quite irrelevant these days, week 1 sales is more important than anything that comes after it

Agreed. She’s somewhat stable from Smile’s performance, which is what matters (definitely better than the Prism > Witness > Smile drop off). Wouldn’t really call it a “bomb”, it was never expected to be very successful

Before the era began they had high hopes of achieving a comeback for her and they tried really hard to make that happen, so on that level it's a pretty huge disaster.

This era has been a worst-case scenario when it could have been very different.

We weren't expecting Teenage Dream numbers again but she had a lot of goodwill and great catalog streaming numbers priming her for a decent-sized comeback for a legacy act. It's not hard to imagine a 2024 where Katy is working with Dan Nigro or Ian Kirkpatrick and John Ryan again. Her team just don't have their finger to the pulse anymore.

"Nirvana" has clicked with me recently, such a bop!

It samples Double Trouble though!!!

I have Woman's World and Lifetimes on repeat.

She's sleeping on Nirvana it's the best track on the album she needs to release it with some remixes and a good damn video

Deluxe version with 4 more tracks, titled '1432' seems to be on streaming now...

1) WOMAN'S WORLD

2) GIMME GIMME (with 21 Savage)

3) GORGEOUS (with Kim Petras)

4) I'M HIS, HE'S MINE (feat. Doechii)

5) CRUSH

6) LIFETIMES

7) ALL THE LOVE

8) NIRVANA

9) ARTIFICIAL (with JID)

10) TRUTH

11) WONDER

12) I WOKE UP

13) HAS A HEART

14) NO TEARS FOR NEW YEAR'S

15) OK

NO TEARS FOR NEW YEAR'S could've been a redemption song to the album, aside from WONDER, but the production on chorus is so damn dull and it can't match up Katy's powerful vocals.

Scandal aside, I believe Dr. Luke just can't produce good music anymore unless a Scandinavian sits next to him.

More mediocre songs :nocheer: I’m usually her biggest defender but this era is just terrible. The most bland pop music imaginable. I’ve listened twice to the deluxe tracks and they just washed over me.
The bonus tracks are quite dull apart from no more tears for new years.

I thought that was just a rumour somebody made up?

I can't really see a big name act like Sabrina wanting to be associated with this project in all honesty.

No Time For New Years is such a bop! Why wasn't it pushed as a single?
