I never cared for them quite as much as the main group (quite honestly I'm not sure so many members were needed :kink: they didn't have the TV series like S Club 7 did to justify that many of them, not before I Dream anyway), but their discography is really strong - all of their singles are very good! One Step Closer and Fool No More are my favourites

Correct! S Club Juniors for the first album, S Club 8 for the second!

Aha!

Their S Club 8 output was a step up!

I guess if you were their age at the time you would like them more.

I wasn't and so they just didn't really gel for me. I also have a pet hate for preteen kids singing love songs and about dating its just kind of icky

their second album is literally a bop-fest, if you'd heard it you'd wonder why on earth they went with don't tell me you're sorry as the 3rd single.

the only thing i can think of is that the boys were getting pissy that they weren't getting leads but in all honesty, it was their downfall.

YES! My exact Top 3 :cheeseblock:

'New Direction' is overrated. Always disliked it more than the rest (bar 'Puppy Love'/'Sleigh Ride')!

'Fool No More' & 'Sundown' are their best songs for me. FNM really is incredible. <3

Erm... goodbye to you x

How can you resist that mature and mesmerising production?

Thought they deserved their own thread

S Club 8 (originally S Club Juniors) were a spin off of the British pop group S Club 7. The group's members, Jay Asforis, Daisy Evans, Calvin Goldspink, Stacey McClean, Aaron Renfree, Hannah Richings, Frankie Sandford and Rochelle Wiseman were all in their early teens or younger when they were chosen from thousands of hopefuls on the television series S Club Search in 2001.

The group was originally intended only as a support act at Wembley Arena on S Club 7's S Club Carnival Tour. The group also had its own documentary series, S Club Juniors: The Story.

I don't find S Club 8 as essential as S Club 7, but their singles run is still really good and Sundown is a cracking album, not heard Together in many years!
I loved both best bands And Sundown remains one my fave S Club related albums.
It never has been made available internationally
