but like all talentless rappers he'll do the usual track and use a super famous sample in order to get another hit

To be fair, half of Dua Lipa's top 10 hits in the past 4 years have samples & interpolations and most people seem to like those. I think it's more if you don't like/don't want to like an artist, one is more likely to dismiss anything like that which pivots to success because 'how dare people fall for this trickery?!' (as well as being an easy scapegoat for 'why this is bad') when really it's a matter of taste.

I don't even like ArrDee or Central Cee too much but this is such a stretch and a generalisation, mostly because you don't like the artist. They have had other hits and have a solid fanbase - Central Cee moreso.

 

I don't know why this forum, in particular you actually, has such a problem with coming up with such wild generalisations just because something isn't for you.

Happy to see "River" added to HHUK, albeit at #37 - was expecting it to be added higher. Hopefully it'll help the song start climbing on spotify again in the coming days. The music video has now moved up to 10 on the UK daily chart which is a good sign as well. Not to mention a live performance uploaded to her youtube channel 6 hours ago which has ~350,000 views and climbing - will hopefully help top up its youtube streams some more in the UK.
