How Do I Live. Always found it rather dreary.

I'm finding this quite tough as I like all of them here in different ways even Chef which is iconic in a comical way :lol:

 

I think I'll go for Celine actually. Was mesmerised by it as a kid but find it so overrated now and even Celine herself wasn't a fan of the song lmao.

I've gone for Chocolate Salty Balls.

 

As novelty songs go, it's not the worst... but all the other tracks are up for a repeat listen whereas Chef...

This is not a vintage list for me oops - hopefully an easy victory for 'It's Like That'

 

It was close between 'How Do I Live?' and 'Goodbye', both dull, but went for LeAnn in the end

 

Chef and Boyzone are both in my top half here :lol: 'No Matter What' is the latter's one decent song for me

It's a great list for me, I still listen to nine of these very regularly.

 

Chef is the only outlier, so I've gone for that.

Stardust and 'Viva Forever' were in the top 10 announced at the time instead of Chef and 'Goodbye', which would have made for a much better list.

 

I've gone for 'Goodbye' first (not me voting the Spice Girls out yet again) but very close between about 5 of these.

Yep I’d have preferred Stardust and Viva Forever too.

 

As it is the list is really bad considering there was lots of great music in 1998. I’ll start with Celine though, always found that to be a hugely overrated song.

Goodbye definitely, their most boring song, Celine and Leanne at least have some drama to them. I knew Chef would go first, but you're all still wrong x

 

Pretty average list on the whole, the big hits of 1998 were very patchy compared to other 90s years.

Agree that Chef is nowhere near the worst on this list. It's probably my 3rd or 4th fave
