The 12 queens of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 8 have been officially announced. The season is set to premiere on Paramount+ on Friday 12th May at 8/7c. That means that it'll air in the UK and other countries on WOW Presents Plus the following day (Saturday 13th May). The 12 queens that are returning to compete for a place in the Drag Race Hall of Fame are:

• Alexis Michelle - Season 9, 5th place
• Darienne Lake - Season 6, 4th place
• Heidi N Closet - Season 12, 6th place
• Jaymes Mansfield - Season 9, 14th place
• Jessica Wild - Season 2, 6th place
• Jimbo - Canada's Drag Race Season 1, 4th place | UK vs. The World, 7th place
• Kahanna Montrese - Season 11, 14th place
• Kandy Muse - Season 13, runner-up
• LaLa Ri - Season 13, 10th place
• Monica Beverly Hillz - Season 5, 12th place
• Mrs. Kasha Davis - Season 7, 11th place
• Naysha Lopez - Season 8, 9th place

Amazing promo looks, they all look absolutely stunning !

I honestly can't get it to stick in my head that Kandy was 2nd in season 13.

 

Hard to see past Jimbo dominating this season, I'd expect Heidi, Alexis, and possibly Kahanna to also do well? She looked expensive walking in and has a whole different energy to the last time. It was like seeing a brand new competitor. Personally I'm also excited to see what Lala Ri and Darienne can do! Hope we aren't robbed of seeing them kill a lipsync <3

I'm really excited for the season! The cast is really good and has some queens I've been wanting to see back for a while!

I wasn't hugely excited by this cast on paper, but watching the entrances, I was like OKAY this is going to be a fun bunch!

They have 8 challenge wins in total among 12 queens. Three of them are just Jimbo :')

 

Weirdly, this cast is exciting as you don't know where most of these bitches have been since their Drag Race appearances.

 

I love how some of them list 'handing a golden boot award' as a 'successful' thing they did :') :')

These types of line ups excite me way more than a season packed with Queens who dominated their original series'. I'm more here for the glow-ups - AS6 was fantastic because of Queens like Ra'Jah, Sonique etc all coming back having severely upped their game.

 

Excited for a lot of the Queens and whilst Kandy wasn't my fave on Season 13, i'm happy to re-evaluate as I have done Silky and Ra'Jah.

These types of line ups excite me way more than a season packed with Queens who dominated their original series'.

 

Same. I know a number of the queens in the line up have had massive glow ups and I can't wait to see what they bring!

 

I'm rooting for Darienne Lake, Mrs Kasha Davis & Heidi N Closet currently - can't wait to see what they bring. :wub:

I agree I think it’s actually more intriguing having a cast like this! Like you can stack a cast full of huge names but that’s predictable, it’s more interesting to have glow ups like this bunch and it’s so satisfying to see them having grown rather than having queens you knew would slay just doing well.
