This month marks 15 years since 'In My Arms' received its physical release as the third single from 'X' in the UK and Australia (it previously served as the second single in mainland Europe). The song was produced by Biff Stannard and Calvin Harris and became a Top 10 hit in France, Germany and the UK; in Australia, it only reached #35 and became Kylie's lowest charting single there since 'Cowboy Style'.

15 years on, what are your thoughts and memories of 'In My Arms'?

Adore this song and love the style of it - ‘Padam Padam’ is in a similar vein for me too as this, not as in sounding alike but the general vibe.

One of her absolute BEST. I loved it the moment I heard it on the leaked sampler in summer 2007 and was overjoyed it made the album.

Could have made a fantastic lead single in a different realm. Pure euphoric bliss.

I do like in my arms, I never loved I the way some others do and I probably like it more now than then. I love the single cover it.
Never been a big fan. Always thought this was quite a weak Calvin Harris collaboration compared to his other tracks.

Oh yeah, this definitely pales in comparison to 'Heart Beat Rock'

Much like 'Wow', it's just a rush of euphoria from start to finish, one of those songs that sounds perfect in the sunshine. I feel like it could have been bigger, either if they went ahead and released it in summer 2007 when it originally leaked along with a few other tracks or by not pushing it as a single in some countries at the same time as 'Wow' was being promoted in others.

I really like the minimalist vibe of the music video, it reminds me of a lot of videos from the time (quite a few of Calvin's, actually).

Not my fave from her later 00's releases but still a great song nonetheless. I remember when it went from outside the top 40 to 10 the next week!
It's easily my favourite single from the X era, an absolute bop. I remember first hearing it on the album and thinking "why wasn't this the lead single?"
Nice album track but that is what it should have stayed as instead of being a single
In My Arms would have been a much stronger lead single than 2 Hearts! I'll never understand that choice. It didn't feel like a triumphant comeback, and it really should have been... and easily could have been. Even Wow probably would have created far more of a splash as a lead.
