May 16, 20232 yr Min Eurovision update 3 loreen tattoo 2000 sales behind david crusher daylight 7 mae muller I wrote song 11 kaarija cha cha cha 1000 sales behind harry styles as it was 12 alessandra queen of kings Edited May 16, 20232 yr by Stitch
May 16, 20232 yr Don’t think she’ll get #1 but top 3 is defo a possibility depending on how it holds up on Spotify
May 16, 20232 yr Spotify update will definitely be interesting today. Are any UK radio stations playing any of these songs? There's nothing really to sustain them otherwise once the TikTok videos fall out of the algorithms.
May 16, 20232 yr If she's at #3 but 2,000 behind David, either he's pulled ahead a fair bit or Ed Sheeran's dropped quite a lot.
May 16, 20232 yr Tattoo and Cha Cha have held up very well on Spotify today so should hopefully hold their place or even climb by Friday
May 16, 20232 yr Update: Source: OCC Loreen at #3, 2000 Units behind David Kushner Mae Muller at #7 Käärijä at #11, 1000 units behind Harry Styles Alessandra at #12So impressed at there being 4 entries looking likely to go top 15 this year! Finding it really odd that these are so successful but the next most popular entry is set to miss the top 40? Have they stamped a "3 tracks only" (+ our own) rule onto the charts? I actually need both Käärijä and Alessandra to at LEAST overtake that Harry song :drama:
May 16, 20232 yr The irony that Harry stopped Sam getting to No.1 last year with the SAME bloody song, still lingering about potentially keeping one of these from the top 10. I'm sure Cha Cha Cha will make it though, it's not very far behind Loreen on Spotify and she's top three, so sales must be bunched up quite closely.
May 16, 20232 yr insane that 1 year later that frickin' Harry Styles song is still blocking EU songs :/ just further proof the current ACR rules don't work and need revision.
May 16, 20232 yr Yes they probably think about bringing in some recurrent rule like the Billboard, It's way too easy to avoid ACR now and also too easy to go back to SCR since they dropped the increase threshold from 50% to 25%.

May 16, 20232 yr If Loreen made No.1, would she be the first Eurovision Winner to top the UK Chart since Nicole's A Little Peace in 1982? I know Gina G made No.1, but she didn't come close to winning, and even our own winner - Katrina and the Waves - didn't make No.1 in the late 90s.

May 16, 20232 yr If Loreen made No.1, would she be the first Eurovision Winner to top the UK Chart since Nicole's A Little Peace in 1982? That’s right! I think I’ll be eternally bitter about Harry blocking Sam with his CD dump though. Maybe he could release some new signed vinyls of As It Was this week just to block another ESC song.

May 16, 20232 yr Loreen needs to drop some 99p CDs with free postage. I hope she can get her label on the case. Girl, call Universal, you're about to be a star.
May 16, 20232 yr 4 Eurovision song coming for top 15 *.* One positive to lockdown was it somehow brought back them smashing in the charts again after streaming seemingly had killed off the chances of this ever occurring!
