Ooh 'Mountain' looks like it should be safely top 40 after all then. Impakt of him adopting The Kunts' tactics x

Nice at Overmono's album only dropping one place since Monday - still not going to hold my breath but would be great if they can remain top 10 all week.

Shame the OCC hasn't given any further updates on Eurovision songs in the 41-100 section, interested to see how many of them are there on Friday. Fingers crossed for Voyager but they weren't there on Monday so hard to tell if they have much of a chance.

I know you want GGG to go ACR (and As It Was, Calm Down, any other song that's been in the charts more than a couple of months) but does GGG's reset really mean that it's appropriate to start calling George Ezra names??

For reference, last year, these were the midweek and final positions:

Sam Ryder 3 - 2

Subwoolfer 58 - 47

Kalush Orchestra 66 -38

Cornelia Jakobs 84 - 59

Chanel 0 - 56

So the songs that did well in the competition, ended up charting much higher than their midweek position. Subwoolfer made the least progress, but then people had already been downloading it and streaming it quite a lot before the final.

Subwoolfer were also disproportionally high on Amazon last year which may explain why they were higher than Kalush Orchestra in the first mids.
Finally bought Loreen - Tattoo Acoustic, I really want her to get to #2 at least!
I’ve never been a fan of Calvin and Ellie (individually but ESPECIALLY together) and if they prevent Loreen from a #1 it’ll justify my hatred! Can’t everybody move on it’s been months
As well as Eurovision songs in the top 10, we could also get the Eurovision CD at the top of the compilation chart this Friday - currently number 2.
Have many of the Eurovision compilations made number 1 in the past?

2022 album - 1 week at number 1

Now That's What I Call Eurovision - 1 week at number 1 in 2021

Those are the only Eurovision albums I can see topping the Compilation Chart since it started in 1989.

The 2005 album peaked at number 30 on the chart dated the 4th June 2005.

I only have the top 20 charts for 2002 and 2003 and neither Eurovision album for 2002 and 2003 made the top 20.

Thanks for that!

I wonder why OCC has so many missing Compilation charts

The 2001 album was the first to have a full release, the 2000 CD was quite hard to obtain here, if possible at all.

I think the Eurovision album should be #1 on Friday as it will have pretty heavy streaming. The 2022 album has been in the chart ever since the contest thanks to streams!

oh just noticed Florence at #21, that's insane!

kinda sad at the same time, cos all singles from the last 2 albums missed the t40, 3 albums ago 2 singles made the top 20 but the highest peaked at #27... and now just cos of a movie, an oldie is gonna chart higher than anything from the last 10 years

I thought streams didn't count towards the compilation chart?
