In perhaps the most neck and neck battle with every song here in votes.. it's bye bye to Dave Grohl and company. The Foo Fighters soared to the top 5 in the UK with their 2005 release 'Best Of You' becoming their highest hit there and also their highest in the US (18) and Australia (5). It was written about US president candidate of 2004 John Kerry's campaign trail. Lyrically touches on letting go of things that confine us!

Well done all for getting the only great song out and leaving an absolute sea of mid -_-

Honestly don't know if I feel strongly enough about any of these, 411 I guess x

There will be an interesting pattern if it goes in a Buble, David and Ricky order of exit (if that happens that is... as they peaked in the chart at 5, 4 & 3 respectively :o )

'It's The Way You Make Me Feel' peaked at 2 as well *.

(Won't be in this order no doubt though lol)

all of these great songs getting knocked out and yet there's a Dumb one sailing through, how bizarre!

It's no surprise to me at all that it's going the distance. I would say with confidence that many pop fans in their 30s, maybe late 20s, remember Dumb and that many have affection for it. It's for sure within my Top 20 favourite singles from 2004!

I really don’t recall Dumb being that special at all but it’ll probably win this.

tbh I’m not convinced there was ever a great song in this round

 I'm easily pleased - my "great" is another persons "decent". Foo Fighters and Mika are decent, as is David Jordan and Ricky martin. There are no classics as such though. As I have no memory of Dumb only fair I play it now. No, still don't remember it. Got no tune, derivative of better records in that genre and an annoying dumb dicky dickky riff. Oops! Nice video though.
