Dua should avoid ACR once Barbie hits the cinemas

Only if it features heavily enough in the film to have any impact on the song.

And if anyone actually goes to watch the film

It's one of the most hyped films of the year, I'm pretty certain people are watching it lol.

Film soundtracks can be quite unpredictable sometimes. For example the film-makers said it was very unexpected to them that We Don't Talk About Bruno ended up the biggest song from the film.

It’s also up against Oppenheimer. I personally would prefer Oppenheimer to win but I reckon it will be Barbie

Oppenheimer’s entire promo has been pretty much how its up against Barbie… and not favourably! So many memes about how people will watch Barbie over it etc.. in a weird way, it’s made people more aware that the film exists than it would’ve done without Barbie as it’s opposition. So who knows. Although Oppenheimers opening numbers will be inflated due to extra charge for IMAX/the superscreen charges etc.. who knows!

Barbie is going to be absolutely huge over the next few weeks, the hype is immense.

We already know there is a party scene in the film that features Dance The Night, so I think that answers the question about how heavily it is going to impact the song. I expect the song to reach its height on streaming that week.

I think Barbie World, Speed Drive and Dance The Night all have scenes they're featured in the movie so could do well on the back of its release I think.
I don’t think the 3 track rule should apply to the Barbie OST seeing as it’s a compilation of various artists

I don't think it will or anyone suggested it would?

I’m pretty sure it applied to TGS OST when that was out
