Sinead was the runner up to David Sneddon on Fame Academy in 2002 and released her debut single a month after his song topped the UK Chart. By the time Sinead soared into the top 2 with 'I Can't Break Down' in February it ran into the mammoth 'All The Things She Said' but nonetheless still managed to sell well and enough to place the 65th biggest single of 2003. Sinead had another top 20 follow up but her album Ready To Run limped in at 48 leading to her being dropped from her record label!

I've actually met Sinead a few times, she's an absolutely lovely lass! Shame her career came to such an abrupt end so quickly.
