Didn't she say DL3 was a departure from the disco sound? This sounds... VERY disco. Not sure what to make of the snippet

Really liking the sound of the snippet but to be expected with Dua, Danny L Harle and Kevin Parker involved! Hyped to hear it in full.

I love how layered her vocals sound in the snippet.

 

I guess it sort of makes sense if the first single isn't a total 180 from the disco, funky sound. The GP associate her with that. I was at a party on the weekend and they played About Damn Time and people were screaming "Omggggg it's Dua Lipa!!" :tearsmile:

I think it sounds more synth pop than disco to me...like modern pop Depeche Mode!!!

Agreed with this! It’s not a huge departure from the last album but it’s definitely not the same sound and feels like a progression.

The PR for this is ON POINT. I was worried it was too soon after Dance The Night to feel like a comeback but the last 2 weeks have been nailed in terms of drumming hype and reminding people of a new era beginning.
