I think I’d prefer this if it was just an album track. I don’t think it has much going for it for it to be a single, imo. Idk. We’ll see how it grows as I don’t dislike it, it’s just “there” for me atm. Idk why but I can just tell there were more viable single options to follow up ‘Padam Padam’ with.

I think they decided on this one because it's one of the more "clubby" options to follow in the wake of Padam, I believe 'Hold On to Now' was the original choice but they switched it.

I get why they’ve gone for it, it seemingly had great first reactions from fans and bloggers et al.

 

Appaz I actually heard the leak of it when it was on YouTube along with Vegas High (which I loved) so I think that may be why I think there might be more viable single options (for me personally ofc) I also said it sounded like an album intro track when I heard it too…

It feels very album intro track. Hopefully the full thing is better, but I do quite like the sound of it but maybe not as a single choice. But we'll ofc see.

 

'Vegas High' sounds A LOT more like it though. I'm excited to hear that one in full!

I'm surprised by some of the reactions. There is so much going for it — it's hook after hook, and beyond that it's probably the boldest thing she has released in over a decade. It's not safe, and my issue with Kylie for years has been how safe she's played it — to great success, nonetheless — but there hasn't been much to get truly excited about.

They’ve allowed their newly signed Agnetha her chance at the top of the iTunes chart before Kylie (hopefully) claims it by doing so.

Ive no problem with that as i really wanted a release where all kylies sales count in the one week on its release week,.

Its getting some good places on New Music Friday. a few top 10 placings, top of the NMF Japan etc. Some of these playlists need have songs added to them shortly as Spotify only adds the songs as they come available in your country.
