First for the door is American Singer Shari Watson known as Truth Hurts and guest rapper Rakim. The track that made the top 3 in 2002 was her only hit and only charting song anywhere and Truth's album peaked at a miserable 61 peak. It used an Indian sample which got into a copyright battle over the use of Lata Mangeshkar's 'Thoda Resham Lagta Hai' and that the Aftermath label that Truth Hurts was under was sued $500 million and an injunction for further sales or performances for the record. The judge ruled that the album was not to be sold until it had credited stickers to the original artists name!
