Yep, Spotify's main Christmas one.

Oh I really hope she can get a chart entry with this! I doubt there’s anyone else who’s had a hit in 7 decades :o

yes it came out in october this year, along with the rest of her christmas album!

:o Cher coming for a top 40 hit then *_* Given it's not on ACR it may even challenge for top 20? :cheer:

She’s also on the 2nd biggest Apple one in the top 10 but didn’t do much there so nice to see this rising, top 40 would be an incredible result for an artist like her!

Would those figures be enough for top 40? Would she not have to remain steady for a couple of days? DJ is also top 10 on iTunes!

Cher coming for her once a decade hit *.*

The power of that Spotify playlist is insane.

"Spotify, play a Christmas song."

You’re right he has entries from the 50s-10s, however his only 10s hit reached #57. So if Cher can make top 40 she’ll be the first to have top 40 hits in 7 decades

Paul McCartney has 7 decades if you include The Beatles (60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s, 20s).

Cliff's 2010s chart entry also wasn't a new song, it was just a re-entry for a 1992 #7 hit (because of a download campaign after his ~allegations~ lol, I had forgotten about that).

The Rolling Stones have actually had a new charting song in every decade since the 60s but they missed out on a top 40 in the 2010s (they got to #61 with 'Doom And Gloom' in 2012). But yeah, I think Cher, if she manages it, will probably be the first to have 7 decades of new top 40 hits, excepting Paul McCartney as Envoirment beat me to :magic: and also Tina Turner who's been in the top 40 every decade since the 60s but her 60s and 70s hits were as part of Ike & Tina Turner and her only 2010s appearance was a re-entry for 'The Best'.

edit: Elvis Presley also has 7 decades of new chart hits (50s-10s) but no top 40 from the 2010s, his only new hit then being #48 in 2013 for 'O Come All Ye Faithful' w/ Susan Boyle

Unrelated: very impressive debut for Fred again.. amongst the Christmas songs, looking good to give Baby Keem a first top 40 hit then, we love to see it!

Congrats to It's Nique for her very legitimate and not at all botted song beating out all of Nicki's album :cheer: shame Juliera seems to have had such a sharp decline from #30 to outside the top 200 today though

The question for today's Spotify update will be: is Cher still top 65?

She’s up to 44!!

Edited by Lee_J11

Christmas songs are down quite a lot on last weekend, Brenda Lee down around 300k. But I’d imagine the snow last weekend helped a lot with the Christmas music

Only 2 Nicki songs left in the top 200 today, 'Everybody' w/ Lil Uzi Vert (the messy Jersey club track sampling Junior Senior's 'Move Your Feet') is now the highest with a relatively not too bad drop of 23 places to #89. 'Needle' w/ Drake is down 66 to #119.

Fred again../Baby Keem down 23 to #47 and Jack Harlow/Dave down 21 to #51. Both not too bad drops either considering the regular Saturday Christmas surge. Tate also still has 2 new tracks charting ('run for the hills' down 64 to #115 and 'hurt my feelings' down 102 to #189).

It's Nique gone already, poor hen only had enough to pay for one day of bots x
