Lookylion and Buzzjack Mountain are missing from the Spotify playlist. Are they not on Spotify at all or just geoblocked for me? If anyone else has them and can put them on a playlist, I can swap mine out.

Thinking I'd have preferred to be in semi 1 (particularly disappointed to be separated from Rolloland as I feel this is one of my most Rollo coded entries to date, the band have even supported Depeche Mode live before!) but still hopeful that I can stand out enough to start the year with a qualifier ~ I see that I have the longest song of the month B-)

 

Think I only know 2 songs from my semi already, lol at Cody going ahead and sending another PJSC winner despite my post which was meant to be a not so subtle hint for people to refrain from that but it is a great song so I won't complain at hearing it again. I think I also remember hearing a bit of that ella jane song as a recommendation in a random YouTube video a while ago and thinking it sounded nice but didn't get around to hearing it in full! There are a few more that I've heard from semi 1, major hype to Sovarasma in particular which was a great discovery from Jade's chart (via 6Music) last year. A couple of those I've only just heard in the last couple of days due to 'XTC' being in the latest Electronic Track of the Week poll and the LE SSERAFIM song (pretty good song, terrible artist name and baffling song title x) also being in the ongoing PFSC Special contest, lol that we've had a song clash from that two years in a row after Bianca/Clara Fable in the first edition.

 

Aside from the songs I've already heard there are a few artist names here that it's cool to see popping up in BJSC for the first time (Adrianne Lenker, ThxSoMch, Bladee) and several more I look forward to hearing from again! Also love the song title used as an auto-qualifier from Harmonica :lol: + Scotland 2 dipping into the Brazilian funk scene makes too much sense, not sure my ears are ready

Ah I did check the versions of this on the iTunes previews while doing veto research and I thought the versions on Spotify were completely different to the one in the YouTube link - I didn't realise there were 2 different mixes that were billed to Jon Of The Pleased Wimmin. The 'Jon Of The Pleased Wimmin Club Mix' on iTunes (which was the one I checked) is completely different but this one on Spotify does appear to be basically just an extended version of the main album version (which I believe is the same as the one tagged as the 'FKB Edit' on the physical single release). The regular length version is available on iTunes/Apple but not on Spotify oddly, so a rare case of the Apple playlist coming to be more accurate than the Spotify one!

 

I'm not certain but I think the attribution of this version to Jon Of The Pleased Wimmin digitally might actually be a mistake, it appears that it is the same version as one that's on YouTube tagged as 'FKB 12" Mix' (which also matches a version of the same length with that title on some versions of the physical single, while the only physical on Discogs that lists this 'Tribute To Divine Mix' doesn't have a track length, though there are a couple of releases which have a version of the JOTPW Club Mix that matches the length of this one).
