It would be interesting to see the list a year from now, with the likes of Zach Bryan, Morgan Wallen & Luke Combs presumably gaining. Probably high spots for Beyonce too.

I assume they're also not counting a few Taylor Swift songs, 'You Belong With Me' is at #11 on the Apple Music UK country chart.

When It Rains It Pours being top for Luke Combs, BOP but I didn’t result expect that to be his most streamed here, interesting

At the bottom of the article it says “Chart compiled based on official UK audio and video streams of country songs from all major UK streaming platforms. Please note, for the purpose of this rundown, artists only appear once only as solo acts, but can feature a second time for a duet/featured artist tracks.”

Ah, that makes sense. Presumably they did that to avoid it being a Taylor onslaught then.

I guess 'Fast Car' 'I Remember Everything' would've been somewhere in there too.

Looks like this is a BBC Sounds thing as it's already available to listen to, presented by Scott Mills here.

Radio 2 will air this in the midnight slot Saturday night/Sunday morning this weekend.

Although I understand why they’ve limited it to one per artist, it would be good to see the actual list without this limitation

Oop forgot there was a separate thread for this.

I was wondering where 'I Remember Everything' was but yeah I guess it probably would be above some of these songs if they are only showing one song per lead artist (but maybe still not top 30 as I guess there are probably a lot of Taylor songs excluded).

I'll just add this in here. No streaming figures given.

Here's the Top 5.

Pos Title Artist

1 DANCE MONKEY TONES & I

2 ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU MARIAH CAREY

3 SHALLOW LADY GAGA & BRADLEY COOPER

4 ONE KISS CALVIN HARRIS & DUA LIPA

5 BAD GUY BILLIE EILISH

well I consider it a major plus to see Glen Campbell on the list, given massive streaming figures for contemporary acts. Dolly, Kenny guaranteed (but let's give kudos to Bee Gees, it's a Bee Gees creation, not their first Country song by any means), and John Denver has many better tracks that all deserve to be on any Best Of list. But Glen is my top Country act, by far. Still topping my chart in 2024 and he's been dead 7 years.
