Could be a close battle for #1 over the week then, intrigued to see which way it goes!

Reminder to everyone to be polite please, let's not get personal or rude in a discussion about the charts

I’ve no doubt the album will do well but these updates are so funny. Of course Beyonce was the most streamed artist yesterday… the day she dropped her album.

Lots of people release albums and didn’t get there

The least streamed track on Cowboy Carter was still 42k higher than the lowest streamed track on Renaissance

But of course Buzzjack doesn’t care about that, the bias is so evident

great update for beyonce! cool to see jolene up there, not so happy the miley collab is the 3rd highest, its one of the weakest ones on the album, but i think its expected cos its such a high profile collab

Is calling someone a “sore loser” really that bad? People implying Dua Lipa and Ariana Grande weren’t doing amazingly have been called much worse and nothing has been said about that

I’ve no doubt the album will do well but these updates are so funny. Of course Beyonce was the most streamed artist yesterday… the day she dropped her album.

This is the first time she has been #1 on the Global Spotify Daily Artists chart and also marks only the fifth woman to ever top it: Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Adele, SZA and now Beyoncé. So there wasn't a guarantee of that.

Is there a spinoff forum to transfer things to when these threads descend into endless bickering about the likes of Ed Sheeran, Beyonce, Dua etc? For the sanity of those of us who just want to see how the streaming charts are shaping up!

Isn't it the most successful non Taylor female opening in almost a year , I'd say pretty impressive,

I do prefer THE over beautiful things but I'm glad it's not just waltzing straight back to the top and we gonna have an actual battle (ideally something else from the album would take off more)

Quite surprised the Post Malone track didn’t do better (not that it did terribly ofc) I just assumed his name would be big enough to bring in more curiosity streams than a few of those above it. It deserves to be a smash too. It’s SOOOOO GOOD!
Are streaming numbers close between 60 and 100 ? Just seems like a big gap for the last track

Ariana did 58.2 million with 13 tracks. Bey had 27 tracks and did 76.1 million.

If Ariana had 27 tracks, she would've done 120 million.

Obviously it's not that easy in the real world but just did the math, nothing else.

I’m not comparing like for like, Beyoncé is almost 30 years into her career so it’s not a fair comparison! You’re proving my point exactly, I’m not trying to turn this into a fan war but it seems it’s fair game to question Beyoncé’s success on here while Dua and Ariana can’t be touched for some reason. It’s very odd

And btw 6 of those 27 tracks are interludes x

I don't think most people are questioning Beyoncé's success, and I believe they'd be ridiculous to try and do so - she's killing it right now!
Beyoncé is doing incredibly! :o Jolene needs to debut top 10 this week and Alligator Tears needs to be higher! Glad Hozier has re-entered very high. Weird he just disappeared yesterday.

That last point is interesting though for the numbers department. Willie Nelson is 29 seconds long and an interlude right but it added over 3 mill to the total so it’s a little misleading her numbers overall when having so many tracks some of them very short and not even songs add 10+ mill to the total. The album is good it’s just 27 tracks so that adds a bit of context
