DAY SIX: VACATION

Heard this absolutely everywhere when we went to Amalfi and Capri back in 2017 and it went on to become my most listened to track of the year - still love it now and it takes me right back to the beautiful coast of Italy

I'm not sure I associate any song with a vacation but I do remember this song being played on the car radio quite a lot when I was on a driving holiday in America.

Day 6:

I don't really have a massive favourite I instantly associate with a holiday (the songs that come to mind I heard a lot I'm not that fond of :kink:). Though I'm quite fond of this and heard it quite a lot on my family holiday to Portugal in 2010 (was a few months after the World Cup so they clearly liked it a lot x)

Day 6: this always reminds me of a holiday in Portugal in 2019, we were driving through the hills with this playing and the lyrics definitely fitted!

Boomtang Boys - Popcorn

I can't find my favorite version of Popcorn on YouTube, but this one sounds the closest.

this is the best instrumental ever,

Day 7 The XX - Intro

Some will know this already: this is is such a remarkable track from 1953 - one of the first ever uses of an electronic keyboard:

Day 7: the first thing that came to mind was Sufjan Stevens' Planetarium album, which is basically a modern classical album with each track themed around a different planet or phenomenon in our solar system (sort of a more electronic take on Holst's The Planets). A lot of it has lyrics but Kuiper Belt is a gorgeous spacey-sounding instrumental:
