This is from the 2022 album 'An Hour Before It's Dark', not only is it post COVID but it references the pandemic as well. The full song is fifteen minutes, this is just the stunning final part which utilizes a choir:

Marillion - Care Part IV: Angels On Earth

April 11th - A song you like from one of your favourite albums post COVID-19

ROSALÍA - CANDY

I chose a single from my favourite album of the 2020s so far, the genre-bending MOTOMAMI by Spanish singer ROSALÍA. I was lucky enough to be able to attend the accompanying tour in London as well and she was an incredible live vocalist. Concerts were sorely missed at the height of the pandemic so I'm eternally grateful for those again!

OK so as I only discovered this thread today, here are my retrospective selections. Hopefully none of these violate the criteria. As I'm playing catch up with the last 11 days, my original choice was already taken for many of the categories but I think I've picked a good and eclectic selection of songs if nothing else :)

April 12th – A song you like with a season in the title [Challenged by JulianT]

I decided for today to go back to one of my favourite songs from 1999, it was a high charting single from Texas, and the season in the title is of course the most popular in all song titles, and also happens to be my favourite season of the year, and of my birth.

Texas – Summer Son

From my favourite album so had to be really

This one's a vibe: :music:

Lots of versions in this song, such as K'naan, MKTO, and Taka of ONE OK ROCK, but let's go for the hit one.

My back up nom would be Phineas, Isabella, Candace (Phineas & Ferb) - Summer Belongs To You.

I could be wrong but I think it may be possible that Manics have a song for every season in their back catalogue.

Was debating whether to go for this version or the DJ Sammy version as both are good but I thought I’d go with this version

I'm struggling to think of the one for Spring

But there's Winterlovers and Autumnsong for sure. The same album has Indian Summer too so three out of four all on Send Away the Tigers.

And if you wan to be cheeky in a transatlantic way Ifwhiteamericatoldthetruthforonedayitsworldwouldfallapart

Edit- there was a track called Ruins of Spring that was dropped from Send Away the Tigers, so yes, a full house of sorts!

Day 12:

The Corrs - Summer Sunshine

Was gonna go for Britney - Autumn Goodbye, but I wanna save her for something else. So I've gone for this forgotten The Corrs gem! So catchy and just feels very summery
