April 20th – A song you like with a numerical title [Challenged by Mangø]

Decided to use this song from a band I was very interested in some years back, and this is one of their most recognised singles, taken from their 2003 album Room On Fire.

Purely numerical, no words, although I would say punctuation symbols are allowed!

Well when I set this challenge my intention was only numbers, no words, but I guess I should leave it up to Wardy to specify whether he will allow the rules to be bent against my original intentions?

I don’t intend to interfere or set my own rules on others challenges. If unspecified at the time, then I leave it to the best judgement of the participants, the only time I will intervene and suggest a replacement is where the song was chosen previously in the event or the leading artist was used already on the same day. Other than that it’s open to everyone to decide what they go for.

As Mango has cleared up the confusions, here is my replacement:

I almost went for Paul Hardcastle but figured someone else may instead… glad you did Julian, it’s a great #1

Day 20 - Was literally just about to say 19, and that's after 19/2000 already went  Pretty tough now but I'll go with this one, did always amuse me how they have such vivid memories and were apparently 'driving by' when they were 7 and 4 :kink:

April 19th - A song you like that is all about food

Danny Elfman - Violet Beauregarde

omg this song has been in my head for decades and I never remembered where it came from  classic x

Day 20 - A song you like with a numerical title

Foals - 2001

Funky fun from Foals

Day 1 – A song you like with a day in the title - Lil Yachty - A Cold Sunday

Day 2 – A song by someone who appeared on a TV Talent show - Beyoncé - AMERIICAN REQUIM

Day 3 – A song you like that makes you feel nostalgic - D12 - My Band

Day 4 – A song you like with a US state in the title - Noah Kahan - Maine

Day 5 – A song you would have as your walk-on music - Travis Scott - FE!N (feat. Playboi Carti)

Day 6 – A song you like that reminds you of a vacation - The 1975 - It's Not Living (If It's Not With You)

Day 7 – A song you like that is instrumental with no lyrics - Four Tet - Three Drums

Day 8 - A song you like with a planet in the title - Justice & Miguel - Saturnine

Day 9 - A song from the 20th century that you only recently discovered - Neutral Milk Hotel - Two-Headed Boy

Day 10 - A song you like named after someone famous - SZA - Drew Barrymore

Day 11 - A song you like from one of your favourite albums post COVID-19 - JID & Kenny Mason - Dance Now

Day 12 - A song you like with a season in the title - Everything Everything - Spring / Sun / Winter / Dread

Day 13 - A song you like that is a country song - Kacey Musgraves - Cardinal

Day 14 - A song you like released from any year ending with 2 - Denzel Curry - Walkin

Day 15 - A song you would like to see a chart resurgence for - Jamiroquai - Virtual Insanity

Day 16 - A song you like with a school subject in the title - Nia Archives - Unfinished Business

Day 17 - A song you like with the same title as a UK #1 single - Megan Thee Stallion - Body

Day 18 - A song you like that tells a story - Tracey Chapman - Fast Car

Day 19 - A song you like that is all about food - Tyler, The Creator & A$AP Rocky - Potato Salad

Day 20 - A song you like with a numerical title - Foals - 2001

I don't think a 'song with a numerical title' is particularly ambiguous, it literally means a song where the title is numeric. Therefore the likes of 'Summer of 69' and '99 Problems' doesn't fit this - as I specified above, I will allow punctuation, but not additional words.
