April 17, 20241 yr Exactly, you can hardly compare a song released 5 minutes ago to songs which have been out for years!

April 17, 20241 yr It looks like Supersonic will miss the Top 40 on Friday - boo !!! It's great to see Natasha Bedingfield keeping the retro flag flying at 17 and 37. Edited April 17, 20241 yr by mrpopquiz
April 17, 20241 yr Hope Artemas can keep 4 as Beyoncé's had enough time up there now. Eek would've liked Perrie to hold onto top 10 but looking very unlikely now if it's 10 today!
April 17, 20241 yr Nice to see Artemas closing the gap on Teddy but I was expecting him to overtake Teddy. I hope he does by Friday and I also hope that Sabrina can push Beyoncé out of the top 5 Edited April 17, 20241 yr by Hadji
April 17, 20241 yr Perrie coming to do a Leigh-Anne! The #1 album is too close to call but I think I'd put my money on Bey. Edited April 17, 20241 yr by Mangø
April 17, 20241 yr Hope Tyla can keep her top 40 place! I much preferred These Words over Unwritten, but that was the original version.
April 17, 20241 yr They've dispatched some physicals today for Pezza today (I assume in a bid to make sure she does keep that top 10) Wonder if Sabrina can go top 5 on Friday?
April 17, 20241 yr With Taylor Swift's return. It's stupid. Guessing this is referring to the Perrie music video comments? Taylor is capped at 3 chart entries so don’t see why this would be a big issue for Perrie. If anything she needs something to help keep buzz beyond week 1 to reduce the inevitable drop in the charts.
April 17, 20241 yr Guessing this is referring to the Perrie music video comments? Taylor is capped at 3 chart entries so don’t see why this would be a big issue for Perrie. If anything she needs something to help keep buzz beyond week 1 to reduce the inevitable drop in the charts. I think it’s less to do with charts and more that Perrie releasing a music video is likely to go over a lot of people’s heads when there’s a new Taylor album clogging up their feeds
April 17, 20241 yr My predictions for Friday 1. Hozier 2. Benson 3. Artemas 4. Teddy 5. Sabrina 6. Beyonce 7. Dasha 8. Ariana 9. Michael Marcagi 10. Dua or Perrie
April 17, 20241 yr Great to see Natasha Bedingfield credited in the Badger track. Really can't see Perrie staying top 10 now, I think 11 is looking likely but hope I'm wrong, likewise can't see oasis managing to stay top 40. Album sales are decent this week, I hope all the top 5 can each pass 10k.
April 17, 20241 yr Not convinced that the CD singles will save Perrie (seems to be the only format ready to go out of the 3 available).
