Speaking of variants, didn't Billie recently go on a massive rant about artists who have loads of physical variants for environmental reasons, and she has... how many for this? I can see 8 on her official store at least.

 

It reminds me of when Lorde said she wouldn't release her album on CD to help the environment, but had a truckload of vinyl for it :lol:

Iirc though, at least Billie is kinda sticking to her word about the environment and I think all (??) her vinyl are made from recycled vinyl.

I’m really hoping this is the week ‘Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?’ can finally knock ‘Down Bad’ out the chart to become Taylor’s 3rd song this week, before it’s too late for it to chart!

Great opening for Billie *.* I'm happy that 'CHIHIRO' looks to be one of her charting songs as 'BIRDS OF A FEATHER' as part of that top 3 isn't just in track list order, I guess it has had additional hype though from being previewed in a trailer for the next season of Heartstopper

 

'BLUE' has also outdone its track list position but did see that it was already being used on TikTok a decent amount

It is odd how/why she's released a digital version of the album for 6 HOURS ONLY!!11, surely there's an unlimited, infinite amount of them available so why the exclusivity? It preys on her stans and forces them them make impulse buys because they won't be available after the time limit. I don't see the need!?

Agree. The tactics that have been used over the past few albums to get fans to panic buy is really exploitative imo. Even more so when they don’t actually stick to the limited aspect and make them pretty widely available in stores after like the vinyl variants of Midnights and 1989TV.

 

This digital version is entirely unnecessary.

Also: great start for Billie. The album is quality from beginning to end so it’s lovely to see it being so well received
