I hope thanks to Tyler, Teddy Swims won't have an another top 10.

Tyler might so well in albums and trouble Courteneers but Sailor Song is safe at #1

in singles he would need far more streams to cover a 3 day deficit

That was a highly streamed album. That album was number one in the albums chart with monster sales. The fact the album was streamed so much does not need to be represented twice...

I disagree with the premise of ACR (and other rules), but I can't see how anyone would be supportive of anything that allows the complete domination from one album's tracks that are already being represented in an appropriate chart!

because if someone legitimately has 4+ of the 100 most popular songs in the country on any given week, why should that not be represented on the singles chart? the singles chart and albums chart are separate entities, an album being #1 on the albums chart tells you nothing at all about how well the songs from it are performing on an individual basis. I can see an argument that non-singles (aka album tracks) shouldn't be allowed to chart at all - it is the singles chart after all - but then that could limit album tracks that organically become big hits without being singles, so really I'd just rather the singles chart to be free of arbitrary limits or manipulation at all.

On reflection I don't think ABBA were aiming for another 1, not at the prices etc that were set. I did order it and it arrives tomorrow, but it was $57AU for the double cd. Super expensive. It may go number 1 in Australia, but that would surprise me more then if it didn't. I think this collection is more of a closure of ABBA releases, just like Voyager was truly a personal tribute from them to the enduring fans rather then a major comeback. I will be interested in where the streaming is allotted after this week though. personally I think it should stay with "The first 50 years" as it is more complete than "Gold" but we will see

I was wondering the same about the allocation of streaming and im half thinking they might go with this new release.

"Diet Pepsi" at 11 today, 50 sales away from top 10, "Aquamarine" at 39

Music video for "Disease" is releasing tonight - should boost the song enough to stay top 10!

Edit: I believe it'll be 1am UK time. So should have a day of youtube streams added plus any boost it gives to sales/streaming in general.

Go Apt! It has to be Apt, if there is any justice. Honestly, I can't see the appeal of the other main competitors.

(Edit: Die With A Smile is also good, and should have been #1, but it's too late. Also, Sabrina Carpenter's stuff this year is overrated, and I'm saying this as a fan of 7 years standing.)

Nice to see That’s So True closing the gap on Apt. I hope it can overtake and outpeak I Love You I’m Sorry

Nice to see “Diet Pepsi” at #10.

Wow at the progress of “That’s So True”- could challenge “Sailor Song” next week?
