As we all know, Christmas music will start to enter the UK Spotify & Apple Music charts from Friday...

but when do you start listening to Christmas music - is November 1st too early?

For me, I actually do listening to a couple of Christmas songs now and again at the start of November, but I don't tend to listen to much until the last week of the month.

Probably late November they go into full rotation for me.

I do listen to the odd Christmas song throughout the month, but nothing heavy.

Never before November unless it's a new release I'm checking out (like I listened to the new Kesha one last week).

I think November 1st is a good time to start listening to them. There are so many new releases/covers every year now that listening to them all closer to the day makes it harder to cover everything

This meme sums things up perfectly for me

I'll start on 1st November (with the exception of anything new that comes out in October, I've already played Conan Gray's Holidays a few times for example) and play Christmas songs semi-regularly throughout November, before it ramps up as we get closer. Post-Halloween feels like the perfect time to start (though I'm not really a Halloween person).

I am traditional and I refuse unless it's December. :P

Few early November start creep in to my single chart then ramp up by end up November till 29th December last day Christmas song in my chart there alll go out agin

November 1st is too early for my liking, I would tend to wait until about a month before Christmas Day depending on when weekends fall

My guess is I / my parents will probably break out the Christmas playlist on November 23rd this year

1st November is too early. I listen between 1st December and 25th December
Ohhh it’s already Christmas …. Again and again.
well I’m American so I have to deal with Thanksgiving first and then the holiday stuff ramps up the midnight after 😅

I'm not against hearing Christmas songs out and about during November, but I tend to not feel the urge to play it for myself on Spotify until December. I also don't mind hearing Christmas songs during the last few days of December - I don't feel like the festivities need to stop dead after 25th December!

I heard Christmas music in a garden centre a couple of days ago which just felt odd to me!

Late November for me as well, I tend to get my decorations up either third or last weekend of November!

I don't really know tbh. I try and hold off as long as I can.

I don't usually listen to the playlists Spotify/Apple make and just curate my own and then I just mix in my favourite songs of the moment/the year every 4 or 5 songs in that playlist so that I'm not completely overwhelmed with xmas music.

(I don't add things like Mariah - AIWFCIY, Wham, Pogues etc... to my playlist though. There are some big ones I do have and can listen to - but they're usually lower down on my playlist (Wizzard - my favourite xmas song ) )

Tinashe's EP gets several plays throughout November every year alongside Kelly's albums. But I don't know whether I start early or whether I start late Nov. It varies I guess. This year will probs be late (aside from Kelly's new song, Ava's new song & Tinashe/Kelly albums as Idk if I cba tbh)

Exactly. I've got my own personal one which I update or add to every year with the songs I love. No Mariah whatsoever on mine!
