Evening all, and welcome to the results of Song Pictionary 2, the sequel.

Thank you to the 27 participants who entered. I'll start off by saying that I consciously made the clues a little easier this time around, but counterbalanced that by not giving you the decades. I thought it would be interesting to compare the average user score with last time - so in the first edition, when marking out of 40 (1 points for artist, 1 for song), the average score was 33.08. Using the same scoring system, the average score this time is, rather shockingly... 33.07 :o so there you go, you guys are consistent if nothing else!

Just a quick update to the scoring system before I begin - based on a suggestion in the thread, I've modified the scoring slightly, so that it's now 2 points for artist, 2 for song, which gives a total of 80 points rather than 40. I've then changed the scoring for each bonus question to be 1 point rather than 2. This ensures that you cannot overtake someone who scored less than you in the main part of the quiz, and the bonus questions are literally just tie-breakers.

Here are the clues you were trying to solve:

As usual, I'll post the results a few at a time, so as not to drag the evening out...

Looking forward to these results Mango... there's definitely 2 or 3 that I could have put a wrong answer for

Can we also be told what the original #9 was before it was changed! ;)

It was Little Red Corvette by Prince but I wasn't completely happy with the image!

There was an ant. There was a deck (of cards). They were on a ball.

'Black Coffee' took me an embarrassingly long time to get until I realised I had one #1 left to tick off, which narrowed the field down a bit, thankfully it soon clicked

Got the other two straight away though!

I was slightly unsure with Q2 because of the forest animals (Fox on the Run by The Sweet was a consideration), pleased they didn't seem relevant in the end x

Q1 also took me a while as I was thinking of songs or artists with "Kings" in them

4. Queen - I Want To Break Free

Jp62dNK.jpeg

Another fairly easy one. Jade went for 'Save Me' by Queen and I have decided that fits the clue even though it wasn't the answer I was looking for, so I've awarded her the points!

Correct (22/27): gooddelta, spiceboy, donnahjaneymack, Roba., dandy*, awardinary, Bjork, Dobbo, chrissmith276, rio309, paulgilb, Adele, jimwatts, Chez Wombat, PeteFromLeeds, Riser, Ansel, King Rollo, Jade, ~1^∞, Campbell, JulianT

5. Razorlight - America

Personally I would have picked this as the most guessed and indeed 25 of you got it correct, but will it turn out to be the most guessed?

Correct (25/27): gooddelta, spiceboy, donnahjaneymack, Roba., dandy*, awardinary, Bjork, Dobbo, chrissmith276, rio309, paulgilb, Adele, jimwatts, Chez Wombat, PeteFromLeeds, vibe, Riser, Ansel, King Rollo, Jade, ~1^∞, Campbell, J❄️hq, JulianT, Iz

6. Rockwell - Somebody's Watching Me

7vRiItn.jpeg

A picture depicting someone watching a well made out of rocks, this is the one I would have picked as the least guessed, and indeed only half of you got it correct!

Incorrect guesses included Oh Well, Wishing Well and the Pigeon Detectives for the artist, but the birds had nothing to do with it!

Correct (13/27): gooddelta, spiceboy, donnahjaneymack, dandy*, awardinary, Bjork, jimwatts, Ansel, King Rollo, Jade, ~1^∞, Campbell, JulianT

7. The Darkness - Christmas Time (Don't Let The Bells End)

QzwaHON.jpeg

Almost all of you correctly identified this, but is it the most correctly guessed?

Correct (26/27): Mack., gooddelta, spiceboy, donnahjaneymack, Roba., dandy*, awardinary, Bjork, Dobbo, chrissmith276, rio309, paulgilb, Adele, jimwatts, Chez Wombat, PeteFromLeeds, vibe, Riser, Ansel, King Rollo, Jade, ~1^∞, Campbell, J❄️hq, JulianT, Iz

4 initially thought was Madonna 'Like A Prayer' but after a while realised Madonna wouldn't have worked into that. Yay for getting Queen for that now and also Razorlight and Darkness.

Should've known 6 was Rockwell what with Halloween oops. 'Wishing Well' would've been the Terence Trent D'arby one I put down but scrubbed the act out as I did kinda know he wouldn't fit into that, it was a wishing Well but clearly didn't pay attention to the rocks  and the man looked like a inspector to me for ages too, again binoculars ddd

Q6 took me ages and is my guess for least correct answers. Q7 was really clever with the never-ending bells, I thought!

OMG I did put 'I Want To Break Free' initially but changed it to 'Save Me' because I only found one non-top 10 hit elsewhere, I must've messed up another one

Glad I still got those points then *.*

So that's what #6 was, blast x Was confused by the birds and I kept focusing on songs with 'Well' in it. Oh Well was my best guess cos the person was wearing a Mac.
