November 2, 20241 yr I notice that every song in the top 10 right now is at its current peak - this must be quite a rarity? (Was almost the top 11 as well if 'The Door' had snuck ahead of 'Taste'). 'Sailor Song' definitely feels like quite a flukey #1 but I'm not mad at it, I am in the like rather than love camp for it but it's a refreshingly different sound to reach the top (and I'm just relieved to see something better finally displacing Sabrina even if only because of ACR lol). Good to see 'APT.' hitting #2, guessing this will probably be its peak as Gracie will probably overtake next week, a big earworm and love Bruno's contributions to it especially. I'm not massively getting into the new Gaga song (not bad but not really exciting me, just sounds like it could have been a random album track from one of her first two albums, I like 'Die With A Smile' much more) but it's cool to see her still having the star power to get a solo top 10 hit over 15 years on from her debut, just hoping I'll be more into other songs from this album. Also still not getting the hype around 'Diet Pepsi' at all but I do actually quite like 'Aquamarine' so I wouldn't mind that becoming a hit. Need to listen to the rest of the Tyler album but 'Noid' is fantastic so great to see that being boosted to a higher peak than 'EARFQUAKE' (although still missing out on being his highest charter since 'St. Chroma' somehow managed to sneak ahead with only 4 days of streams!), though I was hoping it'd be a little higher after being #17 in the Wednesday mids, hope he'll get a top 10 single some time. Maybe 'St. Chroma' could still do it next week but I expect its streams will continue to tail off fairly rapidly. Of course getting the #1 album is a great achievement for this week though!
