December 9, 2024Dec 9 This is hard as my favourite songs are taken (well by the artist anyway)! I have nothing Whitney Houston.
December 9, 2024Dec 9 No Carly Rae... pretty surprising. Also, I think we should have special additions for Lisa Scott-Lee - Electric and Mollie - Back To You tbh as they were BJ anniversary songs! :P
December 10, 2024Dec 10 This is turning into a really interesting collection. I think I’ll have enjoyed this most as a way of celebrating the various people and tastes on display across the site, it’s interesting seeing what people have chosen. I’m not quite so sure I’ll enjoy listening as much(!)
December 10, 2024Dec 10 No Carly Rae... pretty surprising Plus no Robyn, Kate Bush, Billie Eilish and especially Lady Gaga so far all feel like major surprises to me. I thought there were loads of monsters on here! But maybe none have seen the thread yet, still a few days to go. Then again, it's tough to only have one nomination.
December 10, 2024Dec 10 To be fair, the opening post was asking for "all time favourite". Something I myself struggle to know. Maybe a Gaga or Robyn track is close to being a user's top favourite... Edited December 10, 2024Dec 10 by All★bySmashMouth
December 10, 2024Dec 10 I'm probably the biggest Robyn obsessive here but I thought I'd go for something less obvious for this - Honey is my favourite of hers these days
December 12, 2024Dec 12 Seems, I'm on time. Robbie Williams - No Regrets Well, while there are some minutes before closing let me add some words about this choice. More than twenty years ago I'd just started my journey with Robbie's music. Yes, there were Supreme, It's Only Us, The Road To Mandalay in my life but in reality I did no anything about him before Internet came into my life. And then, one day in autumn I bought his... pirate MP3 CD with a collection of his albums by date (2002) but slightly before Escapology. I when I started tolisten the I've Been Expecting You album and when all of these first songs appeared I couldn't believe how great all songs were. But since first seconds of No Regrets I felt something absolutely unique. This song started to be my favourite already after first 10 seconds... And well, 20+ years later it's still my favourite song and nothing can beat it. So, that's why this is my choice. VTCd_of-Prw p.s. Thank you for this thread and an opportunity to share some own thoughts and exchnage all your thoughts and faves together!
December 12, 2024Dec 12 OK Gladiator ft Izzy - Now We Are Free, from May 2004. but on Spotify its just Gladiator - Now We Are Free. https://open.spotify.com/track/4nCgPb8HKqGA...733703e2e4f4ffb Edited December 12, 2024Dec 12 by TheSnake

That's my favorite Robbie Williams song too. The magical backing vocals really make it special.
