As much as I love to see the hype thrown around RATATATA, I don’t think it has enough mass appeal to take the crown but it’s a nice feeling to see the hype nonetheless <3

Hinterlandia dealt themselves a blow with a non-vote then for what seemed like a half decent entry in their semi that I might have enjoyed in the final if it had made it. Zanmatony aren't expected to join the finalists as our streak of autumn DNQ's continues for the months of October and November (we have never qualified in the month of October, and only once in November... although it is December tomorrow... :kink:)

December 1, 2024Dec 1 Just having a look back to see how we all did this month and well done to Ben who was the only person to correctly predict more than half of the DNQs! (He got 6/8 (only missing Eastovka and Singerpurear) while every single other prediction got either 3/8 or 4/8). Just goes to show that the contest is really quite unpredictable these days x Interesting to see Altyr getting some contender hype as it got a rather middling reaction on SyncTube - I wouldn't be surprised if it does do well in general with the non SyncTube crowd though, and it was a PJSC winner for what those tea leaves are worth. (Incidentally for other PJSC tea leaves, Madeline Goldstein ended up coming 8th there and BABYMETAL only 27th, though I expect the latter will have significantly more appeal on here. For completeness when they were sent to PJSC before School Of Seven Bells came 4th, Kai Bosch 11th and Skye Riley 12th).
