M&S were a UK garage duo consisting of DJs Ricky Morrison and Frank Sidoli, active in the late ‘90s and early ‘00s. This track was part of a project which they called “The Girl Next Door”, using vocals from model Natasha Bryce. The track was seen as being quite similar in style to “Groovejet”, and reached #6 in April 2001.

Well that’s the best song gone, though at least it lasted longer than it looked like it was going to after lying 2nd in Round 2. I wouldn’t put “Soulmate” or “You Know Me” in the final myself but at least if the latter makes it it will be justice for Robbie after one of the best pop songs of the whole decade, “Feel”, only finished 3rd in its round. So voting for Natasha.

There’s a clear winner surely?

Have gone for Robbie

Was a toss up between Natasha and Jamelia for me but have gone for 'Soulmate' this time. Would put it above 'These Words' imo which I never liked.

'You Know Me' is my clear fave from this 10!

Dammit was hoping The Nugget could just sneak through there and all the Natasha voters would likely have defected to Jamelia and it really could have had a chance of winning the final too.

Ah, sad at that result. 'Salsoul Nugget' is iconic!

'Soulmate' is the only one left I love now, I don't mind the Jamelia and Robbie tracks but that would be such a dull top 2 if that ends up being it!

Salsoul Nugget is a banger and was the clear winner. Can’t fathom why people were targeting it from such an early stage.

And now we’re left with one of most pedestrian top 3s these survivors have ever had. I don’t hate any of them but they’re all just kind of there.

Oh FFS! Another one here who thinks that the best song has now gone...

Still voting Natasha - I think I'm going to end up voting for Robbie to win at this rate.

Yep, the M&S song was my favourite too. Voted Robbie as with the last round, but not much to choose between what's left for me.

Jamelia for me.

I've always enjoyed Soulmate (a valiant effort at career salvage that followed a masterclass in how to derail your career - shame this wasn't the lead single) and You Know Me (underrated).

I too though agree that Salsoul Nugget was the best song, it's not the most remembered/played song these days so I suspect unfamiliarity may have seen it booted out early sadly.
