guess most people really only care about xmas music these dates :/

at the top:

1 Wham 1,191/2=595K

2 Brenda 1,044+99=1,143/2=571,8K

I was expecting a bit more but still decent given the ongoing Christmas songs dominating.

I guess we will see how she will do when people stop streaming Christmas songs.

Brenda’s actually higher than that cos she’s got a second version doing 99k
Hope SZA has done enough to beat Buble. Low playlisting come in clutch please!

I wonder if Perrie has any chance of breaking Top 100 of the official charts this week.

I know she’s performing okay on Apple Music.

'Messy' has dropped back behind 'APT.'
Thank God. Not a fan of that 'Messy' song at all. :drama:
I wounded if it is chart update at 6pm Joseph no put anything up

He did announce that there is still a first look chart so possibly running behind or busy himself

I said after Friday's chart that First Look is running as usual! Don't usually post a reminder until 10-20 mins before the show begins.

Oh girl  I fear this is the first time I’ve disagreed with an opinion of yours lol

Does seem like a surprisingly muted opening for SZA even with it being released in Christmas week - I guess the fact that it's just marketed as a deluxe version of her previous album doesn't help but it is effectively an entire new album. Might pick up more in January I guess.
Well yes, but that's not really relevant? It's done nowhere near as well as the original 'SOS' either here or in the US. That had 9 songs in the top 40 in the UK on day 1, including having the 2nd, 3rd and 5th highest non-Christmas songs. The dropoff in the US is arguably even more extreme, the original album had the entire top 11 and a bunch more in the top 20 on day 1 there, while the deluxe has only got 1 song in the top 20 (at #9).

Guess the moral of the story is dont release on xmas week aka buble week

Even if you’re sza :/

Regarding Brenda: the two versions of RATCT appear to be on different record labels. I would assume that this means that they are not combined for chart purposes. Does anyone have an opinion, or any knowledge of this?

^thats exacty what I thought yesterday

I think they cannot be combined if it's different labels, different streaming codes
