Official Charts Report

The Weeknd’s Cry For Me has taken the lead to become this week’s highest new entry. Taken from Abel Tesfaye’s latest (and supposedly final) album as The Weeknd, Hurry Up Tomorrow, Cry For Me is expected to debut at Number 6.

The album's operatic opening track Wake Me Up could also follow at Number 18.

We could be getting Messy for a third week – Lola Young is Number 1 on the Official Chart First Look, and looks forward to a third consecutive week at the top.

PAWSA’s remix of Dirty Cash (Money Talks) could reach its highest peak yet in the UK, up to Number 15 midweek.

Finally, US country superstar Morgan Wallen aims for a debut of Number 20 with his latest offering, I’m The Problem.

Assuming it stays like this, and aside from the aberration of Jimin getting a week at #5, 2025 so far has been the same Top 5 for 6 weeks, with the only changes being one #1 & #3 swap and one #4 & #5 swap coming the same week.
Wasn’t expecting to see ‘Arms Length’ in the first look - I thought it might fade away quite quickly seeing as People Watching is still doing well.
Bored of this top 5 now, when will some of them go to ACR?
That's So True and Sailor Song need to increase in streams this week to avoid ACR, correct?

APT as well I believe

Geez, don’t people get bored of listening to the same songs week in, week out? The charts are so stale
Yeah it’s a bit stale but I think it was just 4 or 5 weeks with British number 1’s last year and this year already going to be 3 so in that sense it’s good. Maybe Messy will be this years stick season
2025 so slow not had 2025 new song number 1 yet glad don’t listen radio 1 anymore gone boring agin

Hopefully Die with a Smile will hit #1 the week Lady Gaga's Mayhem comes out next month.

I wonder if the Grammys will have much on an effect this week? We have Lady Gaga's new song that, despite being released late, may challenge top 40? Grammys boost could also stop some songs going to ACR ("Disease"/"The Emptiness Machine"/"WILDFLOWER" some of the songs on DLC-2 that may get slight boosts to avoid ACR due to the grammys).

Can't see much of an Grammy effect especially with those useless winners

I'd take one nanosecond of Taylor's last album over the entire Beyonce fake country album

each to their own

Have the Grammys ever actually had that much of an impact on the charts here? I know Fast Car re-entered off the back of them but can't think of any other times in recent years

anyway, truly courageous from Chappell

They are surely more worthy than the most mid album of Taylor's career :P

Bit random since she didn't win , are you just trying to bait the Swifties. personally everything in that category was more worthy than Cowboy Carter but alas they probably gave her it since she never won AOTY before
