April 4Apr 4 Surely this is going straight to number 1 this week! it’s great! I’m not 100% sure it’ll be a huge multi week number 1 as The Ordinary is so huge and still increasing.
April 4Apr 4 I have just listened to the song out of curiosity, and it's OK. Nothing special. I don't get the hype of Ed Sheeran. Edited April 4Apr 4 by montyj
April 4Apr 4 Love it. This definitely feels too catchy not to take off in a big way. The little instrumental drop after the chorus is superb, the production on this track is super slick and commercial radio are going to eat it up. It's so, so much better than Eyes Closed and anything on Autumn Variations, his best for me since Merry Christmas.Quite intrigued how it will do as I still have my reservations about its appeal to teens who generally drive TikTok and the charts now and who it appears tend to prefer stuff that's a bit more authentic and less 'engineered to be a big hit'. I think it will be a long-running hit and do very well, how high up it peaks I don't know. No.2 debut behind Ordinary perhaps, as sales are low behind No.1, and then lingering and could certainly grow bigger than that in the coming weeks.
April 4Apr 4 Yeah, this is really good and should easily take Ed back to the upper reaches of the charts, if not No.1.Catchy AF and lives up to repeated plays
April 4Apr 4 I’m not an Ed fan by any stretch of the imagination but I’ll give him credit here. This is great. No doubt it will soon be overplayed to death and I’ll end up hating it 🤣
April 4Apr 4 Hmmm...I've just seen the video views and it's not even on the trending chart? Not even 500k views so far (Feels really low compared to Bad Habits) Edited April 4Apr 4 by Mr. C. Joel
April 4Apr 4 I have high expectations for this as much as anyone, but it hasn't even been out for a day. There's another 6 days of sales/streams to be considered, and the first week is not as big a thing as it was 15 years ago.
April 4Apr 4 It's good and it's catchy but it's not screaming massive, like I'd sing along but not want to actually seek it out much

April 4Apr 4 Yeah this is really good, best since "Shivers" for sureI can see this having really good longevity even if it isn't #1 for 2 months like everyone seems to be expecting/fearing (?)

April 5Apr 5 This is effortlessly catchy, was in my head after one play, and the production is very infectious too. Definitely his best since Celestial for me (and Shivers before that).
