March 24, 20251 yr April 4th can't come sooner.I must have played the 30 second preview at least 10 times now.
March 25, 20251 yr Ooh April 4th 2 weeks who we thinking is his biggest competition 🤔 potentially still Alex
April 3, 20251 yr Just had a listen. I'm not sure it's a massive number 1 single like 'Bad Habits' but it's a good pop song.
April 3, 20251 yr Although I think Autumn Variations was a passion project, I can't see how Subtract was as it was the final part of a successful series. Not sure why it misfired, but suspect it was just Ed-Overload by then?
April 3, 20251 yr Just now, Liam S said:Is it out already? It appears to be out in territories such as New Zealand (and that part of the world).

Maybe he just knew there wasn't any more hits on it 🤔 Autumn variants was though as he just released that on his label

It was just a lower key release given the subject matter, he quite clearly wasn't going for big pop or anything.

April 3, 20251 yr Wouldn't be surprised if this is another "Bad Habits" or "Shivers" level hit, very catchy and best single he's released since those.
April 3, 20251 yr I do find the Ed Sheeran debate a bit funny. Load of self obsessed chart geeks who get the ick ablut Ed Sheeran who is obsessed with charts 🤪😛Subtract was definitely a flop. I don’t know what he intended to do with it, but either the label or Ed was not confident in the material which is why a random track was tacked on as the lead single. Definitely his weakest album.Excited for this though from the clips! I don’t think he can can ever be as big as he was in the charts in the way from 2013-2018 but he knows how to make a big pop song. Will be interesting to see if this has longevity and does take off. Sometimes the tracks which are grafted to go viral never actually take off!
April 4, 20251 yr Well, I really like it! Let's see how long this lasts for me until it feels horribly overplayed x
April 4, 20251 yr Is it just me or does this sound a little like Olly Murs single You Don’t Know Love.
