"party 4 u" is right outside the top 40 at #41. Hope it can wiggle its way into the top 40.

We spend our time moaning about labels not doing enough to get the best chart positions for certain artists and Ed is literally the king of securing the BEST possible chart position he can with all hi

  • Nope the audio streaming charts do not have ACR (and also do not have free/premium weighting), it's how we're able to work out estimates for the YTD chart. Even looking at the singles chart with Noah

I don't really see the point in physical music anymore as do pretty much all my listening via my phone but each to their own.

I can think of a handful of things that are otherwise impossible to find anywhere if I hadn't downloaded them while I could (and subsequently, plenty I missed out on). Plenty of major companies have expressed little interest in preserving their own catalogue (especially if it doesn't make a profit). It's not for everyone, but physical media is vital to not allow more lost media to be created.

Full update here!

Wtaf SLC up to 4 get in , highly doubt it will get number 1 but top 3 would be phenomenal

I can't quite believe Jack Black is at 4- stay up there please legend! 🤣

Not sure oasis will do enough to stay top 40 this time

Now the sales have come through Ghost and James Arthur have got unlucky with release weeks

Shame we can’t tell if Ordinary has had a decline from last week

He only 5.5k sales below last Tuesday, and looks like he done an average of 7.5k ish so he's looking at being around 2k above last week at this stage unfortunately

Hopefully we get a better view on Wednesday and know from there. Ed should be the next new number 1 once Ordinary and old Chappell start declining and even if Ordinary does go DCL-3 on Friday, PPC will reclaim number 1

Ordinary did 66k last week and this week it’s in course for about 72-74k

Ordinary having a random increase

I mean, much as I hate 'Ordinary' it's leading the pack by far and away at the moment so it seems right that it should actually still be there.

(Obviously I'd rather people just stop streaming it in such big numbers, but alas)

Tbh I don't actually mind ordinary , more people's obsessions to label anything but it a flop

In an ideal world Jack Black would be challenging him 🙌

Yeah exactly the whole time the number #2 has been pink pony so it has not even blocked anything from #1 either

Ever since that pub duet with Ed went viral it regained a lot of streams

The Giver begs to differ!

it would be a bit silly if Ordinary did go to ACR and give Pink Pony Club another free week at number one (or more likely give Ed the opportunity to drop CDs) when it’s nowhere close to being the genuinely most popular song of the week to be fair.

The most popular song goes to acr all the time I don't get why it's any more silly than when sabrina dropped to acr for example 🤷
