I'd heard Bring the Heat Back before because of the Ava Max feature version! This was my first time hearing the original version. It's a bop! I look forward to hearing more from them.

Now since when did everyone hate That's My Girl?

I find 'That's My Girl' to be quite screechy and grating most of the time :( It's still a bop though. But yeah, I don't really go out of my way to listen to it and it wouldn't be anywhere near the top of my 5H list!

Honestly not a bad batch. Definitely expected worse than what we got from a couple of these. I think that's my favourite PSB song but I'm not really a fan enough to go out of my way to listen to them or this song. That WALK THE MOON song is a bop. But I definitely prefer the few songs I already do know from them.

Looking forward to hopefully some more good a-ha discoveries in future rounds, off to a great start here, also was surprised how much I enjoyed the WALK THE MOON track (the oversaturation of 'Shut Up And Dance' making me forget they're actually a pretty good indie pop band).

A Ha stole a number one from Victoria Beckham. She should have released that week. For that reason, they come almost last, but I can't stand that PSB song. That Saturdays sang is one of the greatest girl band sangs ever and has one of the best girl band videos ever.

I've never heard anyone say they can't stand 'Always On My Mind', it's such an iconic song.

Yeah, it's so soppy and boring and dour!! It's like the pop version of the Coronation Street dirge.

Had she released two weeks later, she would have eben no.1 (one week later too). But she decided not to release against AHa because it was such a famous song!!
