Technically 26 years old (System F - Out of the Blue, 1999) but my favourite version is the remaster of it they did 15 years ago, using all the same instruments and arrangement but sonically beefed up

19 years old now. Not Ready to Make Nice by The Chicks

closely followed by The Blowers Daughter - which is 24 years old

Oh my god, can't believe that is almost a quarter of a century old! 😲

30 years for the 1995 release of Set You Free by N-Trance, or 24 since the Rob Searle remix I loved. I'm not counting the original from 1992 as I don't like the vocal on it.

Yeah it's mad ain't it. I still remember the 1st time I heard it as if it was yesterday. I was going into work (Tesco) and was checking out the CD's and The Blower's Daughter came on in store. I already knew Cannonball and was in awe of what I was hearing. Bought 'O' and never looked back

I would say my all time fave No 1 is probably Vogue by Madonna.

Which is 1990.

So a massive 35 years old

It's 25 years old on a night like this

Peaked at # 6 in my weekly chart. Chartrun : 6-8-10-12-14-14-19

It's the one from her best singles in 21st century.

'Mad Season' by Matchbox Twenty is 25 years old as of this week! That's when the album released anyway, the title track didn't become a single 'til the following year.

Damien Rice - I Remember, also from O (2021), so 24 years too. But the song was written around 96 when he was in his previous band I believe so nearly 30 years

But most of my big favs are quite recent thanks to Phoebe Bridgers <3

LorQueen. ‘Euphoria’ which is 13 years old. My next favourite is 22 this year. ‘Everytime’ by Britney.

Unwell by Matchbox 20 is 22 years old.

I liked it at the time as my sister had the single. It really grew on me in the 2010’s.

I flit between Creep and The Drugs Don't Work as my all-time favourite song, so either 33 or 28 years old.

Ooh, I think you've mentioned this before but so cool that our #1s are from the same band. And mine didn't grow on me until the 2010s either o

Thanks! I know!!

It was my pick of song in the NOW Compilation BuzzJack did last year.

Matchbox 20 have a fair few great songs. Push, 3AM, Bright Lights, .Disease and When You’re Gone. That goes with the two we mentioned.

Also Matchbox 20 was the first concert I ever went to in 2008. It was their Greatest Hits tour.
