Benson's team messed up they needed to do signed bundles I'm sure he'd at least be on 12-14k if they had done even a signed Cassette/CD bundle alongside some vinyl bundles.

  • Sabrina needs one more week to equal the 44 weeks of Elvis Presley's G.I. Blues [OST] as the longest run in the Top 5 for any (not just studio) solo artist album.

Really surprised Benson Boone isnt top 3 in the albums but maybe he has a chance by the end of the week, but as others have said the label messed up by not having more variants available.

Pulp doing much better again this week than i expected im happy to see them get a third week top 20.

Hopefully in the singles Muse can stay top 100 and Lorde gets another top100 with Hammer, was hoping CMAT might have been higher today than 59.

Also pretty poor for Central Cee. Was #1 on NMF got a big name feature and just no buzz or interest at all and looks likely to miss the top 40 might even be near the bottom of the top 100

Good to see so many new entries at the bottom end of the top 40, hope they all hang on. Also hoping Fred and Sam overtake Calvin so he can keep his bingo!

Last week, 'Family Matters' and 'undressed' finished 2k ahead, but both appear to be losing ground - would be most annoying if just one of them overtook and Calvin ended up at #6!

'Now It's Gone' could be about to lose its record runs without going Top 75 & at a #76 peak too.

Outside of the States Sexyy Red is hardly a big name

Sabrina is 2K ahead, not really a chart battle, she extended the lead from yesterday

Huge for Yungblud then, was expecting more from Haim but hopefully they at least reach 15K

was also expecting double from Benson

Still closer than a dominat 6k win last week but ok 😂

I’m also surprised about Benson I thought he’d do a lot more. He’s sold out an arena tour and has three hit singles in the top 20. I watched his set at Capital Summertime Ball and he got the best reception by far.

It’s obviously in Sabrina’s favour but the lead now is expected it’s from Monday onwards the rest should gain on her if her numbers keep dropping.

I'd expect Sabrina to hang on this week but glad it's at least not looking like she'll be squatting at #1 for too long this time. 'Dior' would be a decent #1 (would be good for MK to finally get one as a named / primary artist, 12 years after 'Look Right Through' and as mentioned already 30 years into his chart career!) but I am really rooting for 'Love Me Not' to somehow still eventually get there, I notice the Rex Orange County version has re-entered the top 200 on Spotify today and it's actually ahead of 'Manchild' combined, although obviously MK has overtaken since First Look so it's not trending in the right direction.

I did figure it was probably wishful thinking from me overrating the chances of HAIM beating YUNGBLUD for the #1 album but really thought it'd at least be closer than it is oops - HAIM should still get similar if not slightly higher opening sales to their last album though so could be worse, I just thought the Taylor Swift stimulus package since the release of 'Women In Music Pt. III' could put them in contention to be pushing some slightly higher numbers now. YUNGBLUD has actually just barely already beaten the opening sales of his last album (by 60 units!) - would need to do another 16k to match the opening of his 2020 album though. Good to see Loyle Carner keeping up well with his previous sales too and even Aitch is doing a bit better than I expected. I think Benson Boone is much more of a 'general public' artist than one with a particularly sizeable fanbase, his album will hang around longer than the other debuts but not too surprised that he isn't contending for #1.

I’m rally surprised Benson isn’t doing better, his profile has increased significantly since he released his debut. Maybe it’ll hang around a bit longer but opening sales look a bit underwhelming.

Benson is clearly only a streaming artist not an album artist.

Yet he'd sold 8k by the Monday midweeks - not many artists manage that...!

Don't think Benson's closed the gap enough to get a top 3 peak, though I'd love to be pleasantly surprised. That said, nice to see it showing the best chance of holding up well, and it's now over double the opening week of Fireworks & Rollerblades with a couple more days to go.

Manchild has #1 locked down it seems

Out of curiosity, do we have any info about 6/7 in the albums? It seems likely at least 1 of Ed/Sabrina will take #5, curious if Ed is still ahead of Sabrina for that

Definitely sabrinas week this week then dior seems to have stalled could it recover to challenge next week

Suprised to see had still top 40 in this update so im guessing it will land somewhere between 50 and 75 on Friday 😥

Sabrina is ahead of Ed
