I wouldn't be surprised if the entire top five, along with Fljótavík, came from this semi. Ajanaeda, Fljótavík, Aeorche top three with Altyr Muunilinst, Summericia, and Bøtanikkä not far behind. I could see FSR Rontvia mopping up all the big alt bloc votes too

I agree otherwise with all your predictions for the top five contenders, and that Semi 2 is much more contender heavy than Semi 1. That said, Hendinia, Kathaldazia, Kluminican Republic and Cor Lupus should all be there or thereabouts. Maybe even Elëdan if it can get out of the semi (which I hope it does).

I've put them in green but i could see the vote being split between LØLØ, Daisy Grenade and RØRY just because they're kinda in the same realm. I think they're all strong qualifiers in any other contest if they weren't competing against each other but this is the most rock/pop-punk semi I've ever experienced so idk if people will try to vary their votes more or still genre bloc vote (for lack of a better phrase?) The same could happen for Ecca Vandal, Lord of The Lost & Within Temptation and NXCRE & The Villains but I think they're probably safer than the other group of rockier songs. We'll see I suppose 😂

I do hope the abundance of rock entries in semi 1 doesn't just end up in the vote being too split and a load of them DNQing as I definitely feel most of them are strong enough entries that they should be making it through.

Only the one prediction so far for semi 2 and it has me DNQing (the reaction I got from SyncTube didn't feel like it boded too well for this to have been a worthwhile risk of an entry so fair enough but we'll see x)

My only “hot take”, which isn’t even much of a hot take because a few have predicted it to qualify now, is that if any A-Konohagakure is gonna cut through more than usual, I think it’d be this one.

I genuinely thought both semis were pretty strong when I was voting - but yet they somehow also felt very different from each other despite the random.org approach. I’m really intrigued to see what ends up winning in the final

Two predictions either way plus a "cutting it close" from Cody means the prospect of a first Bronzil DNQ streak looms larger than ever. I thought it would have a few fans in this semi, but if they're more like 6s and 7s than higher scores then hmm... then again, after several months of nothing but Q predictions even for two actual DNQs, a 19th & a 20th place finisher in the semi, maybe it's a good omen?
