Loads of new entries in the albums. Really hope Faithless can remain Top 20 at least.

This week's singles update definitely gives us a taste of who Alexa's favourite artists are...

Could be Suede’s first #1 album since “Head Music” in 1999 (an album that was so hyped at the time, Virgin Megastores literally changed its name to “Head Music” for a day). You love to see it.

Sales are in!

Based on the absolute state of that update, it’s pretty clear the OCC also still have no Spotify data. We don’t learn anything from that, hopefully will be sorted by Wednesday.

Have Music Week commented on the sales at all in their article?

Album chart is wild, but it's interesting to see which artists are particularly reliant on Spotify. For instance Tate McRae - So Close to What being midweek #96 today (its lowest position in its 29 week chart run so far is #36). It's always been evident that sombr gets the most support from Spotify; his album's first two weeks in the chart is 10-11, third week midweek today being #47.

Last week:

#1 HUNTR/X - Golden (23,952)

#3 Olivia Dean - Man I Need (17,556)

#5 Saja Boys - Soda Pop (12,473)

This week:

#1 HUNTR/X - Golden (14,152) [59.08% of previous Monday]

#2 Saja Boys - Soda Pop (8,150) [65.34% of previous Monday]

#4 Olivia Dean - Man I Need (6,181) [35.21% of previous Monday]

A top ten would be particularly fitting for Saint Etienne’s last hurrah but not sure where it’s getting the extra 2k sales it needs from at this point. Hopefully signings.

Toyah 10 and Ronan 13 *_

Nope just given them

So if Spotify doesn’t update all week - I assume it will be a bit of a mystery on Friday for the actual chart? (Assuming that they do in fact estimate the Spotify data for the week)
