I probably gave this edition a couple more listens than usual because a) it was trickier to cut and order my votes and b) it was way above average in quality! 3 entries in particular are top tier Club Bizarre.

I am going to do a listenthrough for this today, will start promptly from 8pm for anyone who does want to listen to all the songs at once x (BJSC final listenthroughs are often a pretty similar length albeit tbf with people already knowing at least half the songs - in any case, obviously people can just dip in or out at any time).

Very hard to call what will prevail in a field like this, and whether people are voting on how weird and on theme the songs or are or simply what they liked the most sonically. Personally I used a combination of both when voting.

Yeah I agree - I think there are some in there that sound like winners in a contest, but they're also probably among the ones that I think least fitted the brief (or at least my interpretation of it) so it's quite difficult to guess how people will vote... I'm struggling a bit myself with the balance of enjoyment vs nailing the brief... but that said, I'm going to bite the bullet and get my votes off in some order today as I've heard everything 3 times now

Three songs really stood out to me, and I've added them to my playlist. One of the three I wouldn't really say was at all weird, but I thought it was a lovely piece. And weirdness and fitting the brief is subjective I feel, some of these sounded ordinary in this context but would sound weird in BJSC maybe.

An interesting mix of stuff though, definitely glad I split the listening up into several sessions as I couldn't have done it all in one go. It made me appreciate the individual merits (or lack of) for each song.

I can't wait for @blacksquare to provide his guest vote and tell every one of us the definition of what is weird in this contest. If anyone will know what to do, he will.

Votes in, I think most of the most out-there entries came at the start, but still a very eclectic and intriguing listen throughout (sorry if I lumped you in with the 'ordinary' pile at the listenthrough x). I have serious entry envy for my 12, really intrigued to see who sent that x
