Huge numbers for such a low poor quality album 😭 at least the lead single/opener is decent and much better than Fortnight!

Yeah Shake It Off, Blank Space, I Knew You Were Trouble were huge!

Even Fortnight was a really decent sized hit too.

The title track will probably climb above the others later in the week most people play albums in order on day 1 but looks like a lot of cherry picking has already started (most likely because its only a short album)

There will be more people looking up specific songs on YouTube I guess, whereas the Spotify and Apple positions will overwhelmingly reflect people listening to the entire album which is not so much of a thing on YouTube.

Only if she was to keep these numbers (she won't). I'll be surprised if Olivia hasn't taken the number 2 spot back as soon as Monday's update tbh...

Tomorrow and Monday's updates are going to get Taylor's tracks down to "normal" figures, before they end up stabilising on Tuesday & Wednesday's updates. It's pretty standard album release drops.

The album is a big grower for me. Really enjoying it more and more with each listen so I hope some of the songs stay around. 'The Fate of Ophelia' and 'The Life of a Showgirl' are my favourite 2 but I am obsessing over 'Opalite' a lot right now too (that's the one I am seeing a lot of Tik Tok appreciation for too... so I wonder if that will translate somewhat?)

734k is pretty much what Olivia was doing two weeks ago before album release, so 60-65k seems realistic for her this week. Golden probably around the same. So Taylor's second and third tracks would need to hold up better than the last album in order to get the top 3.

Perhaps surprisingly the only other Taylor tracks in the top 200 today are august and cardigan. Olivia actually has more tracks in the chart
