I reckon Ophelia will dip below a million tomorrow and maybe stabilise around 800/900k for the rest of the week? Huge numbers from her

-45% WW, still has top 12 globally but I reckon Golden will overtake some tracks tomorrow.

How does that compare to the last album globally?

I wonder what 'Ophelia' will do sales-wise this week. Something in the region of 150k?

I'm thinking 200k+ based on the US figures? She's on track to challenge Adele for biggest first week. She did 2.6 mil day 1 with over 1.2 million vinyls. She'll be extremely frontloaded but she's releasing variants as the week goes on (I think an acoustic version dropped). I assume something similar will happen in the UK in terms of a lot of vinyl/fans buying new variants but to a lesser extent.

Edit: Ignore me sorry getting myself confused with the album and that we haven't seen 150k sales for a song in a while. I expect the song will do about 150k, yes. The music video release is later today which will give it a boost.

'Opalite' above 'Elizabeth Taylor' yay! Really hope something else can chart over 'Elizabeth Taylor' and I hope it's 'The Life of a Showgirl' (due to it having stronger YT views)! If TLOAS can somehow get into the top 3 tracks with 'The Fate of Ophelia' and 'Opalite' in the chart, then that would be the correct top 3 from the album for me!

I wish 'Ruin The Friendship' wasn't 2nd from the bottom </3

'Fortnight' did 91.9k in streaming sales first week and 'The Fate Of Ophelia' has a 36.1% higher Spotify stream total for its first two days, just directly applying that increase for the whole week would put her on 125.1k streaming sales for this week, and it appears the song is not actually even possible to download separately so I guess it'll be 100% streams this time (the inverse of the '1989' era lol). 150k would be a massive stretch based on that (as I expect even that is likely an overestimate) but she should crack 100k.

“Man I Need” once again broke its own record for the biggest week of the year and now holds the top 4 and 5 of the top 6 biggest weeks. However, the whole top 10 is likely to change dramatically this week following Taylor’s release. “Man I Need” also enters the top 100 of the YTD along with “Just Keep Watching”.

“BIRDS OF A FEATHER” dropped below 1 million weekly streams, leaving “Beautiful Things” and “Messy” (just) as the only remaining songs above this threshold in every week this year.

I haven’t even heard them but it would be nice if a song with Elizabeth Taylor in the name charted - would that be a first?
